Deep Creek Mountain Retreat is a traditional family home in the heart of the Smoky Mountains near downtown Bryson City, North Carolina. The large hilltop property features wonderful views on a typical mountain parcel of land. The rolling hills and cool mountain air for much of the year will take you back in time for sure. The house features 3 bedrooms with comfortable, high end bedding, pillows, and linens! There are two full bathrooms as well. Since you are traveling to the mountains and probably coming here for the great outdoors and change of pace, you will find the exterior space useful and well placed. From the screened in porch in the Summer months, the large yard and fire pit area, to the hammock triage overlooking the great Smoky Mountains; we are sure you will find this place home away from home while visiting the area! BEDROOMS: Master Bedroom - King size bed with full ensuite bathroom. Guest Bedroom - Two twin beds. Guest Bedroom - Queen size bed. Second full bathroom located in the hallway between the two guest bedrooms.

KITCHEN: Full Kitchen, cooking basics, drip coffee maker, toaster, breakfast bar w/ seating for 4, dinnerware & flatware. All necessary basic cooking items provided for you.

THE SPACE: Enjoy the drive from downtown Bryson City towards the Great Smoky Mountains National Park through the coveted Deep Creek community. As you travel up the paved driveway to your hidden sanctuary allow your mind to relax and unwind. Enjoy the large, open grounds perched on a private hilltop; a perfect base camp for your Smoky Mountain family adventure! Head on inside when you're ready or take in a bit more of the wonderful westerly views of Sharp Top mountain and the Juney Whank drainage inside the National Park! Be sure to visit the Juney Whank waterfall while visiting! Inside the dwelling you'll find your home away from home. As you enter the home you will find a large open kitchen and dining room, fully stocked with all basic cooking items to prepare a home cooked meal. Brand new granite countertops are a nice touch with plenty of seating for six persons at the bar top or small dining table. You will find a standard drip coffee maker, stove, dishwasher and large refrigerator among other standard kitchen appliances.
As you enter the living room you will find the row of windows bring in plenty of natural light to the space, as well as provide a view of the natural outside beauty of the back yard. In the mornings you can have a seat on the couch and enjoy the fog rolling through the valley of Deep Creek and lift away revealing a nice little mountain view. The living room features a 48" Smart TV complete with your favorite streaming apps to log into at your leisure. The living room seating is comfortable with reclining chairs and plush fabric. Perfect for taking a load off after a day of exploring the Great Smoky Mountains!
As you head down the hallway you will find the first bedroom on your right; featuring a double set of twin beds tastefully decorated with rustic wood furniture. The beds are very soft and comfortable with high thread count linens complete with triple sheeting techniques. Our pillows are shredded bamboo filled for comfort and a hypoallergenic nights sleep. The second bedroom on the right side of the hallway features a queen size bed with the same comfortable bed, linens, and hypoallergenic pillows. The rooms feature closet space to hang your clothes as well as a dresser for putting your clothes away. The final bedroom, the master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, is across the hallway. The master bedroom features a comfortable King size bed complete with touch lamps featuring usb charging plug-ins. Enjoy the local art on the walls highlighting lots to explore in the National Park while you are here. It's a Smoky Mountain Scavenger hunt!
Both bathrooms are full size and plenty large enough for you and your family. The master ensuite bathroom features a stand-in shower complete with a grab bar and shower bench! The guest bathroom is perfectly located between the two guest bedrooms. The bathroom features a tub and shower combination and also has a grab bar for easy entry and exit from the shower.
As you probably noticed on the way in, there is a great sized screened in porch for outdoor enjoyment with a more controlled bug environment. As you will notice bugs and flying insects are abundant in the Smoky Mountains. Enjoy the morning sunrise over coffee and a pastry at the outdoor table in the screened in porch! Laugh and create forever memories on a Summer evening with a glass of wine or your favorite beverage. This is truly a great hang out spot for the property!
Outside, you will also find the views of the mountain range from the front porch quite delightful. You can also take in the great mountain views by relaxing in one of three hammocks on the shaded side of the property. It's the outdoor relaxation station! Finally, don't forget your marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate to roast s'mores by the fire pit on a cool mountain evening! Don't worry, if you forget your s'mores or need firewood you are only a few minutes from town to pick up supplies.
