Chapel Hill Lakehouse-great stay

Great location with a lot of room in the house for family time. Lake is beautiful and nice to sit in the back and enjoy the view. Close to a Whole Foods and many restaurants. Short drive to UNC Chapel hill. Owners were easy to communicate with and helpful.

Lovely time, lovely home

There were 11 of us ladies in the area for daytime meetings. We all enjoyed this beautiful home and property with lovely lake views and comfortable beds and gathering areas. Top notch roominess to spread out after meetings all day. This was the perfect place! Owners were helpful and accommodating! We highly recommend to others!

Family Time

Staying here was a dream - the big beautiful comfortable home on the lake in the middle of town was the perfect place to gather our family, where we could spend time together having fun and relaxing in comfort. Amazing House and Location

Beautiful house and property. No shortage of amenities. The beds are amazing. We kayaked and fished in the lake out back. The downstairs pool and foosball tables were a big hit. Great communication with the owners. 10 out 10.

Great Place to stay for a wedding weekend!

We stayed here with our daughter and her bridesmaids and it was perfect! Everyone had their own room and many different places to hang out. The lake was beautiful and the house had everything we needed. We all are looking for an excuse to return!

Family Trip

My family and I stayed here while touring some local colleges. I literally can not say enough good things about this house. We wanted to explore the area, but spent most of our time relaxing at the house. Beautiful inside and out!! We watched movies in the theater room, played cards in the upstairs family room, kayaked around the lake, and just sat on the deck and read books and enjoyed the view. This house has everything and the owners went above and beyond to make sure we got settled in ok. Close to everything, but you feel so secluded in the quiet neighborhood. Wished we had longer, but will definitely stay here again when visiting NC.

Absolutely incredible

The property was incredible! So spacious and clean, and in an incredible location. We loved the fully loaded kitchen, as we cooked several big meals used the kitchen and living room as our central gathering space. The host provided a tour and made us feel very welcomed!

We stayed 2 nights and the property was perfect! I wish we were staying longer but we were in town for a wedding. Several families fit comfortably, it was well appointed and beautiful! Owners were a pleasure! We would definitely stay again if we were in the area again!

Wonderful, relaxing stay

This house was beautiful with a space for everything. Highlights include wild deer on the road, reading on the dock, and relaxing on the screened in porch. So peaceful and still a 5 min ride to UNC/ Chapel Hill. Awesome!

Impeccably Pristine Oasis

What an amazing home! Stayed with my entire family at this gorgeous lakefront property for my son's graduation from UNC! The home was perfectly appointed with every comfort possible, fantastic lake views, and amazingly luxurious beds! The entire house was SO pristinely clean! I'm hoping to get back to Chapel Hill again so just so I can stay here and enjoy!

Lovely large lakehouse

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property is huge, with lots of amenities. The weather wasn’t great so we weren’t able to enjoy the firepit and kayaks and paddleboards but hope to come back again in warmer weather. Rooms are spacious with beautiful views.

Sherry is from Coastal NC but has lived in Chapel Hill since 1990 and loves it! David is from Connecticut, and came here by way of California. Chapel Hill is a great college town being home to the University of North Carolina Tar Heels. Duke University and NC State are just up the road. Having owned Ladies Fitness & Wellness centers for many years and being an entrepreneur, Sherry loves meeting and helping people.

My husband David ran a B&B in for a short time 1989 and loves to cook. We both love fitness & golf. We have six children between us, with our youngest just starting college this fall. David was an exchange student in Germany in 1980, and last year we returned the honor by hosting our 7th child from Italy. We had our first granddaughter in 2014. We love hosting events in our beautiful lakeside home. As empty nesters now, we would like to share our home by the lake.

An optional 6th bedroom (owner's private suite) with private large bathroom is available for an additional fee if need. Sleeps 2. On the main level. (Great for guests that can't handle stairs)
