Set in 11 acres of woodland and prairie, Ferme Redouline is a tranquil setting to relax and recharge. We offer exclusive use, booking for one group at a time, maintaining your privacy.
Just 5 minutes from the river Dordogne we are perfectly located for visiting the many beaux villages and chateaux of the Perigord.
Sympathetically restored Ferme Redouline is equipped to a high standard, providing a spacious indoor and outdoor living area with a luxurious 12mx5m saltwater pool for your exclusive use.
The accommodation comfortably sleeps 12 adults, + 2 babies in 6 bedrooms, (no bunkbeds) The inside dining area seats 12, the outside dining table also seats 12.
In a fit of madness in 2008 we stumbled across Ferme Redouline in all its abandoned rambling glory and immediately decided to bring it back to life. After a lot of hard work we now enjoy welcoming our guests. Having been sympathetically restored to a high standard it retains its historic charm and character.
From the summer of 2024 we have added three additional ensuite bedrooms and an additional lounge making the property ideal for extended families and friends.
Parts of Ferme Redouline date circa 16C. With two imposing stone Pigeonniers flanking the old bread oven house, the property is a fine example of a home to a bourgeoise land owner. Thick stone walls, log burning stoves and old beams fill the property with charm and character. Ferme Redouline offers a high standard of spacious living for friends and extended families.
6 bedrooms comprising 3 king sized bedrooms with en suite shower rooms, a double room and a twin room sharing a bathroom and a ground floor ensuite bedroom that is either a super king or a twin bedded room to suit, ideal for those that prefer a bedroom on the ground floor. Bedlinen of high quality is provided ensuring a comfortable nights sleep. Bathroom towels and pool towels are also provided. For stays of two weeks linen and towel change are included.
On the ground floor there is a spacious and comfortable lounge equipped with large smart TV, 3 large sofas and large log burner - logs are provided.
The full height dining barn leads to the bbq terrace with a salon de jardin, this overlooks the large 12 x 5 metre salt water pool, truly a beautiful place to relax, swim and watch the sun set.
The dining barn has large sliding doors that open on to the terrace and is perfectly situated for watching the sun set over the swimming pool.
In cooler months the full height dining room has a wood pellet burner that keeps the space warm and cosy.
The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped with everything you should need for cooking and entertaining. As a keen cook Denise ensures that guests can cater comfortably in the knowledge everything is to hand.
There is a second lounge that is also furnished with 3 sofas tv and a wood burner, ideal as a breakout room for larger groups.
The pool area has a second salon de jardin, chairs and sun loungers for a relaxing time by the pool it is totally private and for your exclusive use. The pool has views across fields and woodland all of which you are welcome to explore and enjoy.
We have two baby cots, two high chairs and stair gates, please let us know when booking if you require them.

We live in a separate house with our own private garden and access. Should you need any assistance or advice with choosing or booking attractions or restaurants we are nearby to help you. We can also provide walking and cycling routes that take in the beauty of the area.

Other things to note
We are situated equidistant from Sarlat, Les Eyzies and Monpazier, and close to Le Bugue, Le Buisson, St Cyprien and Siorac en Périgord.
Surrounded by medieval villages, Beau Villages and chateaux the area is steeped in history and pre-history.
Bustling weekly markets are close enough for you to visit a different one each day! In the summer months night markets are not to be missed with their long communal tables, local food and music.

If you want a dining experience at home, we invite you to 'dinner in the garden', a lovely evening enjoying a 5 course tailored meal, for 8 or more guests.

"An amazing holiday! The house itself is quite stunning - inside and out; everything we could need inside with loads of space throughout, all immaculately kept and to a very high quality; and everything we could need outside. the pool a big focus for us, is set looking down valley, handily getting a lovely breeze during the hottest hours. The pool also provides the same great views as the numerous dining options inside and out - we also made full use of the BBQ! Denise made some great restaurant recommendations but above those we recommend Denise and Kevin's own dining experience, table d'hotes! We had a wonderful evening relaxing in Dense and Kevin's lovely garden being served some truly great food and wine. A chance for the whole family to sit back and enjoy kicking off the holiday in some style - a real highlight of the holiday. Well behaved dogs are welcome as long as they are kept on a leash when outside.
