Dies ist der Inbegriff eines familienfreundlichen Hauses. Mit einem intimen Essbereich, zwei separaten Wohnbereichen und direktem Zugang zum Firefly Park wird die ganze Familie bestimmt zufrieden sein! Mit 4 Schlafzimmern gibt es ausreichend Schlafmöglichkeiten, vor allem der Schlafraum mit Platz für 6 Kinder in den Etagenbereichen.

Im Erdgeschoss Schlafzimmer hat ein Doppelbett und ein zweites im Erdgeschoss Zimmer verfügt über ein Doppelbett. Im Obergeschoss befindet sich ein Schlafraum, der mit vollen und zwei Etagenbetten ausgestattet ist. Das vierte Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett. Es gibt einen Wohnbereich im Erdgeschoss sowie ein zusätzliches zweites Wohnzimmer im Obergeschoss. Der Küchenbereich verfügt über einen Esstisch für bis zu sechs Personen. Das Haus liegt direkt am Firefly Park und verfügt über eine passende Veranda mit Holzschaukel und zusätzlichen Sitzgelegenheiten. Der Hinterhof verfügt über einen eigenen eingezäunten Bereich mit Platz zum Laufen, Tischtennis im Freien und Holzkohlegrill.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was perfect for what we needed and the yard out front was optimal for our rehearsal dinner/picnic that we had. We even accidentally left some sunglasses in the house and the house keeping staff was honest and thoughtful enough to bring them to another house that we had rented. The property management company was fantastic to work with also, they gave us a little later check out since it wasn't booked for the next day after our stay. We loved this whole area and will definitely return.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Three families shared this home. The park being right in front of the house was awesome for the kids. I also loved the short walk to the meeting house. The beds were comfortable and AC worked well. The additional living space upstairs was great for the kids. The plastic Adirondak chairs in the back yard were almost all broken and upon sitting in one we thought was ok, the back broke off and the person fell to the ground.The bunkbed room is great for kids, however both trundle beds cannot be pulled out and used at the same time. There just isn't enough room. We had to call out maintenance several times for a backed up tub upstairs, but the management company was very responsive.

The backyard was an unexpected surprise, and made a great SHADY place to host a family dinner gathering. The AC worked great... it was very hot the weekend we were there, and it felt so good after a day outdoors. Cottage Park and Firefly Park were both great for our family reunion games and visiting. We rented hold carts for our group (4 houses worth) and that helped to get around the community. The hard part was finding Poindexter house .. for us and for our families. We found Firefly Lane, but could not see the house address easily. The Lsne is more like an alley, and of course, the front door opens onto the park. It was frustrating for all. I’d suggest a nice address sign that is easy to see. I want to come back, with family or a girls trip!

Great time

We had a nice visit to Carlton Landing again. We have rented multiple houses there and this one was very nice too. Some properties don’t have covered parking but this one did, for two cars. The host was responsive and we would absolutely recommend.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall this house was nice albeit a little tight in the kitchen/living room space compared to other homes we have stayed in on property. The beds were very comfortable, which is big for me. Even my kids thought the bunk beds were super comfy! The big lawn area was great for the kids and they had lots of fun using the ping pong table in the backyard. The master shower could use a new shower curtain and there was no can opener in the kitchen. The decor was a bit random compared to other homes on property. We had 11 people staying here (3 different families) and it suited our needs just fine.

The cabinet door under the sink falls off, the screen door sticks. There was no hand soap supplied and the cottage needs a good cleaning. Under the couch cushions was disgusting and when we opened the windows, you had to fight with cobwebs. We had a great time, just was disappointed in the cleanliness of the cottage and I am truly not that picky. the location was perfect for kids to run around.

Summer 2020

We so enjoyed the flexibility of this property. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. We boated, swam in all the pools, enjoyed the rental options, and played on the beach. Thanks, Carlton Landing, for a wonderful getaway.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 3rd visit to the Poindexter cottage. The upstairs air did not work, but I will admit, it was fixed by that evening. There was some pretty stinky trash (Dead fish or something was in there)and the can was full. We had to take our trash with us There was no soap for the dishwasher and the house was not very clean (grass on the bed, pet hair and the rug in the living room was filthy like it had not been swept in sometime. I just expected more for $700 a night. I will say all the employees I came in contact with were genuinely nice and pleasant.

Perfect family home in a great lake town!

We rented this home for my family (3 adults and 3 kids), and we had more than enough space. The home was beautiful and clean. The downstairs provided a great kitchen/living space for socializing while on vacation. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all clean and updated. There was also an upstairs living area that was a perfect place for a kid to watch movies in the evening. The front porch opens up onto a park where there are often kids playing and adults socializing. It was a perfect place for my kids to play. The entire town of Carlton Landing is built for families. From the home, you can easily walk to a pizza place, the local coffee shop/meeting house, and the swimming pool, and you can easily access the lake. We loved our stay here and we would absolutely stay again!
