A charming country house located in a rural and beautiful setting with wonderful views over the Sicilian sea and the Aeolian Islands. Set in three acres of peaceful countryside and surrounded by olive groves, vineyards and fruit trees, Villa Serro enjoys a secluded hillside setting, offering the ultimate in privacy and relaxation. One kilometer away from the picturesque village of Serro, the villa is an ideal base for exploring the attractions of Eastern Sicily and only 5 minutes drive from the beautiful beaches of Ortoliuzzo and Villafranca Tirrena.

Wunderschönes Haus

Das Haus hatte alles was man sich von einem Urlaub wünschen kann. Eine super Aussicht auf das wunderschöne Meer, einen tollen Garten und eine super Ausstattung! Ganz begeistert waren wir auch von der Flexibilität des Vermieters, es war überhaupt kein Problem, dass wir erst spät in der Nacht angekommen sind und auch das wir am Abreise Tag später als vorgesehen abreisten war kein Problem. Wir hatten zwei wunderschöne Wochen! Auch die Tipps des Vermieters hatten wir uns zu Herzen genommen und damit zum einen tolle Ausflüge gehabt, zum anderen die besten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (der Metzger, der Fischladen und die Restaurants waren top!) Vielen Dank, wenn ich das nächste mal in Sizilien bin gerne wieder in der schönen Villa Anna

La pulizia della casa lascia a desiderare, sembra che la casa sia abbandonata da tanto tempo e puzza di chiuso e umiditá. Il forno e il tostapane sono arrugginiti e gli utensili della cucina sporchi con connessi insetti ovunque. Le ragnatele fanno parte dell´arredamento e il giardino é abbandonato. Sotto il letto 2 centimetri di polvere e la camera da letto é molto piccola, gli armadi puzzano. Non é cosí che si deve far trovare una casa in affitto, a meno che non l´affitti ad un prezzo molto economico.

Panorama et tranquilité

La location est conforme au descriptif de l'annonce, Nous avons apprécié le calme et la vue magnifique sur la mer et le couché de soleil. Très bel espace mais aurait besoin d'un petit rafraichissement(petit problème de robinetterie mais rien de sérieux). Propriétaire très réactif. Appréciation globale très positive.

Villa fantastica con una campagna e una vista stupenda

Posso affermare che questa villa ci ha dato la possibilità di vivere una bella vacanza, Piena di ogni confort, molto gradito il barbecue e la doccia esterna. Aperitivi con vista tramonto molto suggestivi e rilassanti.

Nous avons adoré !!!

Nous sommes restés 3 semaines dans cette maison. 3 semaines de détente au calme en profitant d'une vue magnifique sur les iles Eoliennes. La maison est parfaitement adaptée pour une famille de 5 personnes telle que la nôtre. Rien à redire, tout correspondant amplement à nos attentes. La région n'accueille pas un tourisme de masse, les petits commerçants locaux sont charmants et bienveillants. Bref nous avons adorés nos vacances partagées entre le repos, la découverte de la région, les ballades, la mer et les îles. Nous recommandons vivement cette maison et cette région encore préservée.

Rustic, charming and our FOURTH stay!

Early Spring in north east Sicily, overlooking the Aeolian Islands, again - 4th visit ! We stayed in the pink house half way up the hill. It was just perfect. The property was clean and well maintained, now with Wi Fi. Well stocked kitchen, with utensils etc. Lovely covered eating area outside and brick barbeque. We ate outside all the time. All very rustic. Beaches 5/7 mins drive away. Villefranche has great local produce, again only 3/5 mins by car. Francesco, the owner, was really good at pointing us in the direction of the local baker, greengrocer and butcher - so we ate one meal at least per day on the terrace of the Pink house with the fabulous views. The villa has a basketball court too. All such fun - we're booked again for next year and taking friends too.

Peaceful country house

A cosy country house with a spectacular sea view. Suitable for families or group of friends. If you like relaxation then this house is ideal, you will be immersed in a most peaceful countryside. A 5 minute drive away and you have the beatiful sandy beach of Villafranca. The vills is well equipped with air conditioning and free WiFi connection. The garden is a perfect spot to see the sunset, so at the end of the day you can relax and enjoy the sun setting. The town and beaches are nearby, but you do need a car to stay here.

Villa needs updating

The house is in a nice location with lovely views to the sea. The villa itself is in need of modernisation. It has a neglected feel to it; furniture and applinaces are all quite old and some areas of the house could be cleaner. There is only Italian TV, no Satellite or DVD player. Wifi is available and works most of the time. The house makes a good base for exploring the area; some attractions are quite a drive away - the best beach is San Gregorio (40 min), Mt Etna (just under 2 hrs), Taormina (about 1 hr). The local village beach is also good and there are some nice restaurants. The owner is very helpful.

Very nice villa

Very big, sunny and fully equipped house. View is breathtaking. The bedrooms, living room and bathrooms are spacious, comfortable and very clean. The location is perfect to explore the whole Sycily (better to have a car). The owner is very kind and helpful. Perfect place for those looking for calm and interesting excursion

Breathtaking view! Very peaceful!

The house was charming, comfortable and so peaceful. It was a delight to come back to the house after a day at the beach and dine on the terrasse in front of spectacular sunsets! The house is ideal for families, everyone will enjoy it. The location was perfect for day trips to either the islands or Taormina. The owner was very nice and helpful.

Peace and relaxation

Villa Anna is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. There are superb views from the villa to both the mountains and the sea. Ideal for a relaxing get-away-from-it-all holiday. Just take a stack of books, get some of the excellent local wine and unwind over a superb brick-built BBQ (but don't forget the mossie repellents). The owner, Francesco, is very helpful.

Peaceful place! Highly recommended 4 families!!

We loved this villa, peaceful, very secluded, with stunning views over the sea and the unspoilt countryside. The place was ideal for our children and they enjoyed it so much, it was very safe for them to play in the garden and in the back lawn. We spent most days at the beach in Villafranca, so convenient, only 5 minutes drive. The beach is sandy, water is very warm, we were swimming until 8.30pm and the sun was still there! The shops and supermarkets in Villafranca are very convenient and we use to buy the food there and cook it at home. Have a try at the recommended local shops, meat and fish are excellent and we had a couple of great barbecues. On the last day, we visited Taormina, such a gem, with its medieval streets, beautiful shops and bars. Thank you, Francesco, for being such helpful and nice owner!

What a location!

A lovely romantic villa (even more beautiful than what expected from the pictures on the website!), it’s like being in the countryside and at the beach at the same time, the house is perfectly located on a peaceful hill and at only a couple of minutes drive from the seaside. The views are absolutely stunning and we enjoyed the most fantastic sunset over the Aeolian Islands, unforgettable! During the day, the possibilities are endless whether you choose the sea (the beaches of Villafranca are 5 minute drive away), the hystorical places or the natural beauties

A fantastic holiday !!!!!

Fantastic holiday, Villa Anna was just the thing we wanted, well out the way of the tourist areas but also only a short drive (less than 5 minutes) to Villafranca where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. The panoramic views over the sea and countryside were stunning, it is a very peaceful setting, the silence is unbelievable, only birds singing! Seclusion was most appreciated and I loved the fact that nobody overlooked us. We enjoyed days out to some beautiful areas of Sicily (Taormina is wonderful), without having to travel far, and it was always nice to return each day to the peaceful setting of the house. The beaches were great, only a five-minute drive, even though it was the middle of July, they weren't very populated, this was a wonderful experience. The information pack was excellent and we followed most of the suggestions. We will be happy to recommend your house to others.
