Conveniently located, you are close to Truckee, Donner Lake, Lake Tahoe, and we have tons of great hikes and outdoor activities right outside the front door. You are also just a short drive to Northstar, Palisades Tahoe and other world-class ski resorts.

The home is situated on two levels, but the living space is set on one. You have plenty of room to relax, enjoy a home cooked meal, take in the mountains from our outdoor deck and backyard patio. All-in-all this home is comfortable, cozy, updated, and highly reviewed!

Up the driveway, you will see one set of stairs to the Enter into a large mudroom/foyer. This is a great place to store/drop your gear from the day. Once inside the home, you walk into an open living room, dining room and kitchen. The cabin has vaulted ceilings making this area extra spacious and bright. Open the blinds and sliding glass door to reveal mountain views and a huge deck with a BBQ - the perfect spot to unwind after an adventurous day in Lake Tahoe!

The kitchen is completely upgraded with new appliances, granite countertops and plenty of cooking supplies! There is a bar with seating as well as a large farmhouse dining table for 8!

The living room has a comfortable sectional couch and a cozy leather rocking recliner. There is a SmartTV and a sound bar for playing your favorite tunes throughout the home. You will also find a desk with an additional monitor and charging station if you need to get some work done while you're in town (but let’s hope that is not the case!).

Around to the back of the house, we have a brand new back patio with chairs and a fire pit. Early in the AM you may see some of our deer friends hanging about!

We've got plenty of entertainment options perfect for everyone in your group! Enjoy 3 TV's with smart TV setups -- we have one TV in the living room with a Blu-ray player and the other two, located in the bunk room and master, are Roku TV's. We also have some board games for adults and kids toys to make you feel at home. We also have a mini foosball table!

We do have a short, but steep driveway. We have a plowing service in the winter months.

TAHOE DONNER AMENITIES
You will be provided guest passes that permit access and discount pricing at numerous Tahoe Donner recreational amenities such as the Trout Creek Recreation Center and mountain bike rails accessed from Alder Creek lodge. Five minutes away, The Trout Creek Recreation Center has an exercise facility with state of the art exercise equipment, fitness classes, an adult lap pool that is heated to 82 degrees year-round, saunas, and massage treatments.

In the summer months, the Tahoe Donner amenities include a private beach on the east side of Donner Lake, where you can enjoy a BBQ, swimming, boat/kayak rentals and the use of the private boat launch. Crawdad fishing is a favorite of the kids in the marina. There are three swimming pools, tennis courts and bocce ball courts. Also biking trails, hiking, campgrounds and a world-class 18 hole golf course. Oh yes, there is also an equestrian center with pony rides for kids. Lake Tahoe beaches, Tahoe City and Kings Beach are less than 15 miles away.
