Enchanting Eco hideaway for nature lovers

Make yourself at home in this magical 1-bedroom Santa Fe retreat. This quaint house offers a marvelous escape for guests, with its cozy bedroom featuring a comfortable queen bed, wi-fi, wood stove and baseboard heat. The property is located nestled into a 4,000 acre wilderness preserve where you will drink coffee in the morning to the sounds of birds, hike the ponderosa forest right out your back door, listen to the coyotes, fox and bobcat at night and view epic star gazing with New Mexico’s dark skies. All just 25 min from the Santa Fe plaza where you will enjoy world class dining, art and culture.

As an EcoRetreat we value and aim to preserve resources while giving guests all the amenities and comforts of modern life. This house runs primarily on solar power, has a Laveo dry flush toilet to conserve water, and a pristine private well. We use only eco-friendly cleaners and products.

A 4WD vehcile may be needed in heavy snow and rain, otherwise 2WD is just fine. There is a communal outdoor fire pit, eating and lounge area overlooking the forest.

-Although we have fans, this home is not equipped with forced air or an evaporative cooler
-A 4WD vehicle is recommended in very heavy snow or rain, but if you do not have a vehicle eqipped for inclement weather, we do a have a parking spot at he bottom of the driveway, which is about a 1/4 mile walk to the studio
-The kitchen is equipped with a hot plate, toaster oven, and electric kettle, however, there is no oven/kitchen stove.
