On those extra sunny days, take a brief stroll to Black Mountain Golf Course to play a round or two before grabbing a savory snack of soft pretzels and beer cheese, and a refreshing sweet tea at the Golf Club's new Green Tee Grille.

Keep exploring all that town has to offer by making your way to downtown Black Mountain where you'll find a number of novelty shops, art galleries, restaurants, bars, and cafes along with the Swannanoa Valley Regional History Museum and the White Horse Music and performing arts venue. After strolling and shopping to your heart's content, sit down for a delicious lunch on the spacious patio of the Black Mountain Bistro, and then visit the Black Mountain Brewing taproom to drink a craft beer with the finest local ingredients. Once you've enjoyed the activities and attractions in town, stop by Lake Tomahawk Park on your way home to relax and take in the gorgeous scenery and wildlife. Speaking of, you're likely to spot a paddling of ducks waddling across the street using their designated crossing! If hiking isn't your thing, but you still long for those breathtaking views, drive along the famous Blue Ridge Parkway to enjoy each season's changing foliage and stop along the overlooks to take pictures to remember your special time in the mountains.
