Original Sullivans Island Beach Haus mit charmanten Funktionen, zwei kurze Blöcke zu Fuß zum Strand Zugangspfad. Große abgeschirmte Veranda, voll ausgestattete Küche mit tragbaren Geschirrspüler. Abgeschirmte Veranda verfügt über Deckenventilator, ein Sofa, Stühle für bis zu 9 und Esstisch für 4 Personen. Der Zugang zu den Schlafzimmern im Erdgeschoss erfolgt über eine Treppe in der abgeschirmten Veranda. Holzkohlegrill, Kabelfernsehen, 32 "Fernseher, DVD, Holzboden überall. Bettwäsche inklusive. W-lan. Rauchen verboten. Keine Haustiere. Bitte parken Sie nicht auf dem Zement-Pad auf der Ion Street, dies ist ein Gehweg. Parken an der Middle Street.

Girls Trip

The location was amazing. Easy walk to restaurants on Sullivan's Island and ocean. There were only 4 of us but the house could sleep many more. The beds were clean and comfortable! There is a lot of 'stuff' in the house but overall clean. There were no eating utensils (at least we couldn't find them). Other than that, kitchen is well stocked. It was a wonderful get away!

Moldy smell/ water damage visible on ceilings

Two out of five rooms are in the basement of the house, next to the garage and have water issues. The ceilings are peeling due to water damage, the shower heads are rusty and the overall moldy smell in the basement and house are not bearable.

Real reviews are hidden

It wasn’t until we had booked the place that I realized people’s *actual reviews* were hidden under the generic ones. Luckily we didn’t use the downstairs rooms as many of the reviews mentioned, the smell of mold was bad & I am highly allergic to it. The cleaning people had managed to cover the musty smell upstairs with a sickly honeysuckle air freshener. Location is great. Needs improvements to make it worth the cost.

Just splendid!!

Our family had the best of time at your place. The place was just steps away from the beach and easily accessible. It was kid friendly. We had a bunch of teenagers as well in our group who enjoyed the most as the house was just setup right for big groups. Plenty of seating areas. Wonderfully furnished. Bedrooms were spacious as well as adequately furnished. It was a wonderful stay overall. The maintenance staff were also really supportive and prompt. We did have couple of minor issues raised and they attended to us immediately. One of those was the unique Dishwasher which needed to be plugged in when needed. Other than that, the house is a second home for anyone travelling to Charleston.

June family Get Away

I love this house. It is like stepping back in time to the house I lived in as a little girl. There were 10 of us and we had more than enough room. We could all go to our own spaces and have solitude if needed. The neighborhood is perfect. The yard is excellent. the screened in porch is a love of mine. We sat out there every night and talked for hours. The kitchen is huge and well put together. We made huge breakfasts and dinners and everyone ate together. The walk to the beach is very easy. Anything you might need ,you will find in this house. I love it. We will definitely stay again next year and this time for longer.

It has tons of character with shells, toys, knick knacks to look at in every corner of the home. It feels large and has plenty of space upstairs and down. The yard is huge and the neighborhood is quiet. Kitchen is massive and has everything you need. They put the linens on the bed for you, plenty of towels, and the cleanest beach house I have ever rented. No sand on floors which I have never seen before. Company checks on you throughout week which I am not used to experiencing and was very nice touch.ConIf you are a dad of small kids like me, the hike with 100 lbs of gear on a beach cart isnt hard, but gets a little long day after day.Air conditioner struggles some once it gets HOT, but otherwise cools the place down at night and throughout the morning and early afternoon. No outdoor shower but the hose works fine. Furniture old, but beds are comfortable.Great house!

Nice location and home but....

Nice property, plenty of space, location is central to the area and easy to get where you need to go. However, I would recommend investigating some HVAC zoning for the upper and lower floors. Our stay was hot to say the least. From the time we arrived to the time we left this unit hovered at 76-78 degrees and would only drop to a moderately comfortable level of 74 at night but never lower than that.

The important things are clean, the rest is dirty and uncared for. We called maintenance for many lightbulbs, a clean shower curtain and no heat because no one filled the propane tank The maintenance guy, Tyler? was fantastic: kind, understanding, efficient and knowledgeable. The woman who mowed the yard was unbelievably hard working and did an excellent job.

The floor in the downstairs bathroom/bedroom is sinking. I called it in. We spent 4 days stepping carefully in those rooms. The screen porch was delightful. Lots of room to gather as a family. The house would be delightful if the owners invested in the property. A/C ductwork needs sealed. Crawlspace /foundation needs immediate attention

Overall disappointed

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I read the other reviews and was looking forward to staying in this house; however, I was disappointed that the house wasn't better kept up. The shower curtain had mold at the bottom and the bathroom smelled bad. The downstairs smelled of insecticide. I had to contact law enforcement twice: the next door neighbors had ongoing domestic violence with yelling on their porch, doors slamming, and a physical altercation. In another event, two teenage boys shot a dove off of a telephone wire with a BB gun, then couldn't find the dove, and I found it a couple of hours later, alive but bleeding. I couldn't catch it. The property management had advertised they could provide "light housecleaning" and I called to request this, and was contacted by the housecleaning folks that they would come for $395.00, or $345 if I made up the five beds myself, which didn't seem like light housecleaning to me. There were not enough towels, linens, TP or PT provided for my 12 day stay. (Two rolls of TP, 2 rolls of PT; one set of towels for each bed.)
