Welcome to the Blue Bird Bungalow! This charming retreat is perfect for couples or small families, comfortably accommodating up to 6 guests. Our cozy bungalow is ideally situated close to Highway 41, making it a convenient base for your adventures. Just 12.7 miles from the south entrance of Yosemite National Park, it’s the perfect place to recharge after a day of exploring. If you're in the mood for a refreshing swim, The Pines at Bass Lake is only 7.5 miles away. We’re also dog-friendly, welcoming up to 2 furry friends to join your stay. PETS:
We gladly accommodate up to 2 well-behaved dogs for a fee, but we ask that our guests be responsible pet owners. Please note that we do not allow cats or any other types of pets. There is a pet fee of $40 per dog per stay. Guests are responsible for bringing and providing all required items such as crate, bed, food and water bowls, poop bags etc. as these items are not provided. To ensure a pleasant stay for all, we kindly ask that guests adhere to our pet rules, which are outlined below. We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to hosting you and your canine companions!

Our property is equipped with a classic Nintendo Entertainment System gaming console, perfect for a nostalgic trip down memory lane! Whether you're reliving your childhood favorites or introducing the next generation to some retro fun, this added touch will make your stay even more enjoyable.

WHAT'S PROVIDED:
For your convenience, we provide the following items: dish soap, hand soap, paper towels, trash bags, cleaning supplies, basic cooking supplies, spices, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and toilet paper. These items are offered as a courtesy but are not guaranteed. For larger parties or extended stays, you may need to purchase additional supplies.

We provide all freshly laundered linens for your stay, including towels, sheets, pillowcases, pillows, quilts, and blankets. For your outdoor cookout needs, a propane BBQ is ready to go, complete with propane—just be sure to clean up after use.

Our kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to whip up a delicious meal. For your caffeine fix, both a Keurig and a full-size coffee pot are available. Please note that the property does not have a dishwasher.

Free Wi-Fi is provided, and the TVs are equipped with Sling app for your streaming entertainment. To ensure your comfort year-round, the property also features both heating and air conditioning.

IMPORTANT INFO:
***There is no landline telephone line at the property. Cell service for most carriers is available.

***High Speed Internet is provided and is the fastest WiFi available in the area. Service will occasionally be on and off due to mountain location, altitude, and weather.

***Property is located in the mountains, thus it is located in a wildlife area. Especially between March and November, there is a possibility of seeing Bears and other wildlife. It is extremely important to not leave any food or trash outside or in vehicles, that vehicles are locked at all times, and that windows lower than 10 feet from the ground are not left open at night or when leaving the property.

***Property is located in the mountains, which is home to various species of snakes, scorpions, and many other types of bugs and reptiles. Please be cognizant of your surroundings and do not leave children unattended.

***Please be advised we do have one external camera located on the front porch. We do not reside in the property full time and use the camera to monitor for property security.

***We do not offer cancellations, refunds, reschedules, or credits of any kind for weather conditions, and/or park closures as these are beyond our control. We strongly suggest that guests purchase travel insurance at the time of booking if weather and/or park closures are a concern.

***Please be advised that there will be third parties periodically on site at the property to perform water filtration, landscaping, and pest spraying services.

***Due to our mountain location our water contains minerals which can impact the hardness and taste. The water is safe to drink and the home has a water softener. If you are sensitive to taste we recommend that you bring bottled water for your stay.

RULES:
• Maximum occupancy of 6 is strictly enforced (Occupancy greater than 6 guests will result in immediate cancellation with no refund, and an additional $500 fee)
• No smoking or vaping inside the home
• No driving or parking in any unpaved areas
• No parties/events (Unauthorized parties/events will result in immediate cancellation with no refund, and an additional $1,000 fee)
• No 3rd Party Bookings Allowed (Person making reservation must be staying at property)
• Quiet Hours - 10pm-8am
• No loud music or excessive noise inside or outside the unit at any time
• Tampering with or disabling the Wifi, or camera will result in immediate cancellation with no refund
• Please be mindful and respectful of our neighbors
• No open fires or fireworks allowed
• No feeding wildlife
• No exception to Check-In and Check-Out times unless pre-approved by host in advance
• We do not offer cancellations, refunds, reschedules, or credits of any kind for weather conditions, and/or park closures as these are beyond our control. We strongly suggest that guests purchase travel insurance at the time of booking if weather and/or park closures are a concern.
• If the BBQ is used, please clean after use
• No flushing anything other than toilet paper in toilets (Flushing other items - even if labeled as flushable - could result in damage and additional fees for repairs)
• Please help us keep white towels white - black makeup washcloths are provided for make-up removal, etc. so white towels are not stained.

PET RULES:
• Up to 2 dogs allowed. No cats or any other pets allowed.
• No breed or weight restrictions.
• Each dog is charged a $40 per stay fee
• Any damage from pets will be charged to the deposit collected
• Guest must pick up and dispose of all pet waste. A $50 fee will be charged if pet waste is not picked up.
• Dogs must be current on vaccinations and flea treatment
• Dogs may not be left in home unsupervised, and must be confined to crates at all times while guests are away from the property.
• Guests are responsible for bringing all of their own pet supplies (i.e. crates, food and water bowls, poop bags, beds, etc.)
• Dogs are not allowed on the sofa or beds and an additional cleaning fee may apply if there is excessive dog hair, and extra cleaning required.
• Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times while outdoors
• Pet deposit will be returned within 14 days of checkout as long as all pet rules are followed and damages are not found.
• Pet deposit will be forfeited if any pet rules are not followed
