Skye & Star's Oasis in Terra Lago, Pool/Spa/Vibes!

Coming through the gates of the Terra Lago community you feel instantly transformed into vacation mode by the beautiful Mountain View’s, glistening blue lake and well manicured grounds. Our home is on a quiet street and feels very tranquil with Mountain View’s from every window and lake views from the front two bedrooms. Very spacious at 2700 sq ft and well designed to accommodate a large family with private bathrooms in 3 bedrooms, open floor plan, tall ceilings and six tvs for down time.
The space
Close to Festival grounds, Tennis, Golf and more! There is parking for up to 4 cars in the driveway and garage, the house is bright, open and airy. Mostly neutral decor. High quality furnishings, dishes and linens. One bedroom on the main floor, 3 upstairs. 4 Bathrooms, one on the main floor and 3 in the bedrooms upstairs. Spacious loft with a queen cabinet bed & couch and TV upstairs.

The back yard is a refreshing and tranquil oasis with a 20 foot pool with a six foot deep end, Baja shelf and spa. We have your sunbathing needs met with 4 sun loungers, & 6 Adirondack chairs, Turkish cotton towels and 4 tiki umbrellas. Outdoor dining table with 4 chairs, and outdoor dishes/cups etc. Fire pit and grill.

We have plenty of games, books and toys for your use. Some pool accessories and outdoor games.

We have worked very hard to think of your every need but if there is anything we missed or you need before your stay please let us know so that we can do our best to accommodate you!

The house in completely yours accept the maid’s closet under the stairs.

Feel free to set up the table and chairs in the garage for a game night with the lake view. There is also a Blackstone grill in there should you wish to wheel it out for lakeside grilling (must be reasoned and cleaned after use). The back yard also has a grill and dining area.

No street parking 2am-6am!
Other things to note
We are very family friendly. We have books, toys and children’s dishes available. In the primary closet we have a pack n play with sheets and blanket. Booster seat with tray table.

POOL:

Please use the pool at your own risk. By booking with us you acknowledge and accept ALL responsibility for your safety and the safety of your guests while on our property, pool including. Do not let your children be in the back yard unattended. Swim in pairs in case the other person is struggling in the water. The deep end is six feet deep and we want everyone to be very safe and cautious while on property.

Please give us 24 hours notice to heat the pool or spa, fees may apply due to time of year. 50 dollars per day for the spa in the summer. 80 dollars a day for the pool in the colder months, no need to heat in the summer.

Please make sure you put all towels, floats and toys back in the house after pool use so they don't blow away.

NO GLASS, RUNNING, PEEING OR FOOD.

Please put down the umbrellas if it's windy or you go in and they are unattended, and make sure you bungy them so they don't get ruined after each use. The wind picks up quick out of nowhere! Towels will fly too so bring in at the end of the night or put on the towel ladder to dry instead of the hooks or chairs.

Please put away all pool floats & toys back in the garage at the end of your stay as they will get taken over the fence and blow to the lake.

Please don't try to adjust anything for the pool yourself. We have to do it from an app in our phone so if you want to adjust something please let us know and we will do it for you. Do not go behind the fence into the pool equipment area as that could be dangerous.

You are welcome to put the Adirondack chairs on the Baja shelf but please be careful not to drag them and scrape the pebble tech finish. Please take them out before you check out.

Please dry off before entering the house.

Please shower before entering the pool and do not wear lotions or oils.

OUTDOOR DINING:

Please use the non breakable dishes, cups, stemware outdoors.

Please clean up the grills for the next guests.

For the Blackstone grill, you can wheel it out of the garage and use just put back when you are finished.

PARKING:

Cars can be in the street during the day so you have the garage and driveway free for outdoor dining etc but make sure they are in the garage or driveway by 2am-6am.

You are welcome to park in the garage or the driveway.

FIRE PIT:

After removing the cover place it somewhere will it will not blow away.

Take the top plate off of the little brown hideaway table and turn the gas on by turning the knob (YOU MUST TURN OFF AFTER USE).

Press and turn the knob on the fire pit to ignite.

NO FOOD can be cooked over this flame as it will put gas chemicals in your food and ruin the fire pit.

Turn off on the fire pit by turning the knob. TURN OFF GAS in the hideaway table.

After the fire pit as fully cooled off please replace the cover.


GOOD NEIGHBORS:

There are a ton of rules in both the city of Indio as well as the hoa. We have to work together to keep Airbnb alive here by both aligning and abiding by the good neighbor laws. I’ll have these printed in the house but also send to you after booking. But they are: no parties, no noise, no parking in the street, no unregistered guests, no noise in the street etc. I will need full names of every guest entering the gates for the guard as they do not let anyone in the car in with out being on the list. Failure to follow may result in fines or imprisonment.

LOVE:

We hope you feel loved, relaxed and safe in our home and we so appreciate you returning that same love back to us by taking care of everything there as if it was yours. Please don’t take anything out of the house without asking and please report damages and breakages. We won’t be mad as accidents happen and we would rather know just to fix it for the next guest.

Please be super kind to our neighbors, don’t leave any trash, keep the quiet hours and drive slow through the neighborhood.

LAKE:

Remember the lake is no contact and the hoa enforces that strictly as the water is not safe for swimming.

HOUSE CARE:

If anything in the house seems out of sorts or in low supply please let us know right Away. We do our best but sometimes the housekeepers and be human and miss something!

Please set the thermostat’s to 80 (hot months) upon departure so they aren’t waisting energy until the next guest comes. Turn it off in winter months.

Please turn off all little lamps and lights when not in use and when you leave. Close all windows, lock every door including patio’s.

Please don’t sleep on decorative pillows and blankets so we can preserve them by not washing. They are just for looks.

Please don't sleep on the couches.

Please use all the white towels only, decorative towels are for looks only.

You are welcome to use the extra refrigerator in the garage, just please unplug when you leave and keep it cracked open.

Our adult bikes in the garage are off limits but if biking is something you are interested we would love to know and maybe we can find some bikes to accommodate our guests. Your kids are welcome to use the kids bikes and scooters.

Please no wooden things, pots/pans, in the dishwasher. Please try to put things back where you found them!

Please do not rearrange furniture!

Please put all outdoor patio cushions from the balcony in the closet after use or they could blow away!

You accept full responsibility and for any damages to the home, yard, any belongings and that you will replace or reimburse for any damages or anything missing during the time our home is in your care.
