Welcome to your modern "old city" sanctuary - a large 1bedroom loft nestled at the entrance to Old San Juan, where history and the Caribbean sea converge to create a truly unique living experience.

Modern luxuries and conveniences are just a stone throw to Old San Juan, the most unique experience on the entire Island. Come take a stroll through the rich history and cultural heritage of Puerto Rico's Viejo San Juan but don't sacrifice any modern luxuries like central air & power generators.

I am often traveling and out of town but I will be available to offer help throughout your stay. If you need something in particular I can request assistance from someone but sometimes, because of "Island Time", requests are not handled immediately. So please keep that in mind, if that will present an issue for you then we would like to suggest booking a hotel perhaps.

-We are located on the small peninsula that leads to Old San Juan. The Atlantic Ocean is to the right of us and the bay to left.

-Escambron Beach is about 5-7 minute walk from our property. You literally cross the street and walk up to the ocean side side walk and there is a path that will lead you down to Escambron Beach, which is a fairly hidden beach mostly only known to locals and surfers.

-If you like to jog you will take the same path and there is a beautiful jogging trail parallel to the ocean with unimaginably beautiful views while you jog. You can jog right into the hilly streets of old city or circle around the Perimeter. They recently just did an Iron Man competition here.

-Old San Juan is a 5 min ($5) Uber ride away. You can also take a Bird Scooter there and ride your Scooter up the coast line. It costs about $2-$3

Condado and Santurce (La Placita/the bar district) are located just a ($5-$8) 5-10 min Uber ride away.

Guest will have access to the entire space.

I very carefully chose this particular property to live in when I moved down to the Island from Miami because of 3 things.:

1) Its an exceptional location...located smack in the middle of Old San Juan and Condado (Santurce, La Placita) the few places that I, and my guests, will mostly be interested in visiting. It's a 5 minute trip to either or from here.

2) The modern luxuries this particular building. I cant tell you how nice it is to have central air conditioning (which is very rare on the island), an updated kitchen, 24/7 building security, power generators in case of power outages, and high speed internet 1000mbps+. I immediately knew that these were the luxuries I would have otherwise missed.

3) The view. As you walk into this unit the first thing you will see is the floor to ceiling windows displaying the bright blue waters of the bay. It's so relaxing just watching cruise ships, yachts and sailboats come in and out throughout the day. There is even a private airport behind it with small unique planes that take off and land at all hours. From the bedroom windows you will have a view of the Atlantic Ocean and Old San Juan. Its quite and experience to wake up to and one you wouldn't have staying in Old San Juan or Condado.

As you step into this spacious loft contemporary design seamlessly merges with the crystal blue waters visible from each of the large floor to ceiling windows. The massive open floor plan invites you into a luminous living area adorned with large windows, allowing natural light and its reflection on the bay to dance across the carefully curated interior. With high ceilings and ample space, the loft exudes an air of Caribbean charm with mainland sophistication

In the bedroom, a king size bed a sanctuary in itself, offers a generous retreat with panoramic views of the Caribbean sea. Awaken to the soothing sounds of the waves and relish in the breathtaking sunsets that paint the sky in warm hues, creating a daily masterpiece right outside your window.

Although most travelers want to enjoy the local cuisine there is a fully equipped kitchen available with most basic cooking items, while the dining area provides a perfect setting for intimate dinners.

Located just 5 mins down the road you can feel the the energy and history of Old San Juan . Stroll through the cobblestone streets, discovering historic forts, vibrant markets, and charming cafes. Embrace the coastal breeze as you wander along the waterfront, just steps away from your doorstep.

My recommendations to most guests is just to Uber around the Island (unless you plan to visits areas outside San Juan). Most Uber rides are $5-$8 and the drivers are all super friendly.

We are located 5 mins away from Old San Juan (which is a must see part of the Island) and Condado/Santurce/La Placita is the younger party scene. Both are fun in their own way and it's really nice to be located so centrally to both point of interest. Ubers and Bird scooters are readily available.

-This property is located in a modern high-rise building. There is a 24-7 concierge that will assist you with the check in process. Please let us know in advance what time you plan to arrive so we can notify the front desk of your check in details. You will be required to provide ID upon check in.

-Please keep in mind this is an Island. Things are not always done the way they are done in the United States, buildings are not as perfect, maintenance is not as fast, and issues can arise which may take a process and time to rectify. If you are not easy going about these sorts of issues then we would recommend booking a hotel as they have more access to the around the clock resources that you may be used to. Otherwise, for our easy going travelers rest assured we do take action on all situations quickly and efficiently but occasionally we are bound by the laws of "Island Time".
