Horrid experience
I'm truly appauled at the poor customer service and very unpleasant conditions that the host Giovanni placed me in. A man met me at the door of the unit who did not speak English, but was approachable and communicated via a translation app. He informed me of a beeping noise which was a broke portable window A/C unit. The bathroom door wouldnt close. The front door of the units automatic lock was faulty and would not shut, leaving a 1/2" gap. As I exited, I later came to find out through head maintenance director the AC in the whole hotel/condo building had been out the previous 3-4 days. I then asked when the AC would be back on and he said, well maybe by midnight, but no guarantees that it will work and maybe just maybe tomorrow. This then confirmed by 2 other maintenance workers on site. So i spent about 4.5 hours on the phone with VRBO and fortunately had the head manager on site, Elvis, who sent an email directly to VRBO validating my case. The property owner and the one who rented the site on VRBO his name is Giovanni. I would highly recommend against any business dealings with Giovanni. He's a crook and pays no attention except to the almighty dollar. Despite not having AC, he pleaded with VRBO that AC was back.on at 4pm despite my being validated by Elvis arpund 5pm that the AC was still out. No refund and i had to find a hotel elsewhwre and was out my rental. Giovanni never cared to reimburae me and then had odacity to ask me to give him 5 stars despite my not staying
