Comfortable home for a family stay
Our family chose Starry Peaks as a week-long homebase for visits to Sedona, Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon. The deck was very comfortable for my wife and MIL to meditate in the mornings. My son and I enjoyed the fire table on the deck in the evenings - there's plenty of seating for large families and a wonderful view with lots of fresh air. The bedrooms are comfortable and the bathrooms large and pleasant. All rooms have ceiling fans and this was the first time we had seen light tubes in ceilings. Internet service tested (Okta Speedtest) from my phone and laptop at over 300 Mbps. Our son's Nintendo Switch was easily connected to the TV in the sofa space next to the kitchen with an HDMI cable we brought. The kitchen is fully outfitted with a great Sub-zero fridge Monogram gas cooktop, and wine and beverage fridges. We greatly appreciated that both coffee and a bottle of wine were waiting for us on arrival (whew). The Keurig coffee maker also has reuseable K-cups so you can use whatever coffee you prefer. A concierge service gets the the trash and recycling cans up and down the driveway for you which was a big relief.A couple of minor suggestions for the owners that would add even more appeal - 1) cornhole or similar games would be nice, especially since the garage is huge and totally available; and 2) added dish towels for the kitchen. We used a couple small towels from one of the bathrooms. Special thanks to Jared for the responsiveness.
