Disappointing all around
When I booked this property- there were no reviews. I wish I had been in a position to wait.
My first glance of an old charming home did not last long. The bed in the larger room was pretty much a futon mattress.
The shower was tiny and water flowed down the door and onto the floor.
The first major disappointment was the sign on the washer and dryer that it was out of order. We had to spend our evening at the laundromat (and $18 but that is not a big deal) and needed to resort to eating take out in our car in the parking lot. We lost one of our 2 evenings in the area.
The next disappointment was the lack of air conditioning in one of the upper bedrooms. When I contacted Vacasa about it- they told me that the pictures only show window fans... I said "so now we have to go by pictures, not the list of amenities?" I sent them a text with "Air Conditioning" under Popular Amenities circled... no response.
Next was the blood droplets on the comforter in the room my son was sleeping in. Luckily there was a spare in the closet.
Finally it was the ants all over my food in the kitchen.
I contacted Vacasa and they said my complaint would be reviewed and I would hear from them. Two days went by and I checked in... no news yet but as soon as there was an update someone would call me... I had to contact again more days later and they said I was getting a $40 credit for my inconvenience.. gee thanks.
Avoid this place and and property VACASA manages...
