Great Location in Nagshead

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We got a rough start, the code did not work on the door to get us in, so it took a while an contact with multiple people, but everyone was very nice and helpful - and that's much appreciated in that situation - once we got connected. We ended up having to use the longer code all week. The house is in a fantastic location. Having lots of stairs to get to the main area was a little bit tiring and not having a restroom on that level led to even more stair climbing. The bed sheets had a little sand in them right off the bat. But overall it was great.

Nice getaway

Property was ready when they said it would be and was clean. Short walk to the beach and very close to shops and restaurants. The home had many accommodations and perfectly fit a family of 10. The only thing I found needing to be addressed was a loose baluster on the side deck we blocked off the area with chairs so our small children wouldn’t go near it. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone wanting to visit.

Great Family Getaway

There are a lot of stairs to navigate if you are traveling with little ones or have mobility issues My boys really enjoyed the game room!The location was very convenient for our family. It was close enough that we could easily run back for bathroom breaks, snacks, or something else we needed. One of my favorite features was the view from the deck! We found the kitchen very well stocked. Upon arrival the house was very clean and the rental company was a breeze to work with! Thank you so much for sharing this property with our family. We made memories that will last a lifetime!

Only thing I would say is maybe upgrade the master bath shower, is very tight and small. Other than that, house is beautiful, clean, well equipped and great location. Would stay there again in a heartbeat....

Terrific quiet and clean haven

We liked having the living, dining, cooking space on the upper level. Easy walk to the beach and close to both piers. The ping pong table was small and unusable due to the other items stored in that room.

Angels Nest Vacation

We especially enjoyed being outside on the covered deck which was perfect for eating meals, watching storms, reading etc. The full outside shower was practical and fun for our kids. the kitchen was fully equipped. Beds were comfortable. Being on a neighborhood setting gave us privacy and quiet. Working g with Beach Realty was a pleasure. They were responsive and helpful at every step. We would like to return to the Outer Banks. Our only complaint was the traffic and the tripfrom our home to the property but that is due to popularity of the Outer Banks.

Property was a great location and easy access to beach. Property managers were responsive. Price was great for 1 week. Just wish there had been toilet paper, Tissue, trash bags, spices, etc and other house type amenities provided and listed on info for rental because we did not know that prior.

Great family time at Angel's Nest

Great access to the beach in a private cul de sac. Relaxing top floor deck with view toward Atlantic with nice breezes. Family enjoyed BBQ grilling and outdoor shower. Needs a screen door on dining room to leave sliding door open - to experience ocean breeze without risk of letting in bugs.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This beach house was in a great location, close and easy access to the beautiful beach, and a view of the ocean from the deck. However, the amenities were very lacking. In my many years (over 40)of staying at the OBX, I have never rented a house that didn't provide bath mats or rugs, and no place mats for the dining table. The shared (Jack&Jill) bathroom only had one small towel rack and no hooks to hang anything on. Challenging for two rooms to share! There was no clothesline underneath the house. Also, we have never stayed anywhere at the beach that didn't have ANY board games, cards, books, or puzzles. Locks to the laundry and game room (ping-pong and foozball) underneath the house were missing, and there was a hole in game room door where a lock used to be. We won't rent this house again and will not recommend to anyone, unless these issues are fixed. Not worth the amount of rent we paid for this property.

We loved everything about it!!!

We love fishing and the house is located right between and less than a mile from both Jeanette’s Pier and OBX Pier. We loved it and will stay here again!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a great area in South Nags Head; easy access to the beach, walkable to either Jennettes or OBX Fishing Pier. House is OK. Kitchen is well equiped, mattress could use an update. Shower in shared bathroom is tiny (I called it coffin-sized). Upstairs room with extra bed is odd. Almost like to see that transformed into game room or something similar. A frig in the ground floor room would also be a great addition. We also paid extra for 1pm check in, I felt like the real estate could have given us the keys when we came back at 12:50 instead of making us wait until 1:05 and THEN have a 20 minute drive back to the house. They don't want people going to the house early, but this is an example of why they do!

Outer Banks Fiesta Times vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very cute house, close to beach. Not a bad walk at all. Overall happy with our vacation, but cleanliness was off, not horribly dirty, but not **** and span by any means. Better attention from cleaners should be paid. Stove was greasy and gritty, dishwasher had water standing with dead flies. It had soured and had to be run before we could use it. The floors had not been swept or mopped, at least in the kitchen. Nothing you can blame on the house or management, strictly negligent housekeeping. Living room couch a bit shabby, needs either cleaned well or replaced. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner due to some repairs he was making. He was very courteous and took care of the issues right away.
