The peaceful and secluded Lazy Laurel between Blue Ridge and Ellijay

The Lazy Laurel is a peaceful 2/2 cabin located at the end of a private cul-de-sac. The cabin features a bedroom and full bathroom on both floors and a game room on the bottom floor.

Ready to explore? Our cabin is centrally located 20 minutes to Blue Ridge and Ellijay and just a short drive to some of the best hiking, waterfalls and fly fishing in North Georgia.

Just want to relax and do nothing? The year-round mountain views and sounds from nearby waterfalls provide the perfect setting to relax on our porch, by the fire put or in our brand new hot tub. Our game room will keep the kids busy while you just enjoy the mountains.

First floor:
The first floor features our large porch, complete with dog gate and custom mountain laurel handrails. Step inside and relax in our cozy living room with cathedral ceilings, Roku smart TV and gas fireplace. We love to cook so we have everything you need to create a great meal in the full kitchen with granite countertops, stainless appliances and coffee bar. Just off of the kitchen is our king bed master suite with attached full bathroom including dual sinks.

Bottom floor, game room and guest bedroom:
Take a walk downstairs and you will find our game room featuring stained concrete floors with brand new leather pull out sofa bed and love to enjoy movie night in front of the large Roku smart TV. Feeling competitive? We've got air hockey and a small pool table. Fix yourself a drink at out game room bar with refrigerator.

Back deck, hot tub and fire pit:
Step outside onto the lower patio and relax in our brand new hot tub purchased in Summer 2024. There's a built in drink cooler to keep beverages nearby. Spend the rest of the evening around the fire pit listening to the sounds of Fightingtown Creek. Keep a lookout for our friendly deer friends that like to cruise through the property in the mornings and evenings!

Paved driveway and neighborhood:
Our paved driveway has enough room to turn around, making it easy to exit the property, even in inclement weather. Don't forget to walk off dinner, our little street is a great place for an evening walk to enjoy the great mountain views. For the more active guests, the waterfalls of Fightingtown Creek are a short hike down the mountain below our property.
