Summary:
Located Just 10 minutes from downtown Asheville, and 3 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, this private mountain house is the perfect home base for relaxing by the fire, cooking in the chef's kitchen and taking in the beautiful tree filled surroundings- with plenty of space for the whole family (including pets), you’ll feel right at home at this cozy mountain getaway! ***Please note we do not allow any work vehicles or equipment on property. Neighborhood roads and driveways are not suitable.***
The Space:
This is a brand new rental managed by a reliable hosting team, to check out our five star reviews on other properties, click on my hosting profile!
One of the key features of this home is that it sits on 8 acres of sprawling forest - a nearby pond and fire-pit and ample privacy to be enjoyed. Take in the starlight on the wraparound porch with an evening cocktail- or stroll outside and enjoy the lovely sounds of the birds with your morning coffee. Get the whole group cooking in the chef's kitchen with dual ovens and dishwashers, a large farmhouse sink, and plentiful counter space - perfect for holidays, or a fun night in! Roast s'mores by the fire-pit or curl up in the living room for board games and movie night, the options are endless!
Bring your pets and let them roam in the fenced in side yard, or on the large gated front porch!
The master bedroom is on the main level of the home, right off the living room. It's the only bedroom on the main floor and boasts a king size bed, en-suite bathroom with a brand new steam shower and jacuzzi tub, a walk in closet, and a separate room designed as a dedicated workspace. The workspace has a desk and chair, and is surrounded by windows to let the natural light and forested surrounding in.
There is a separate half bath on the main level, just off the living room.
Downstairs there are 2 bedrooms - one with 2 queen beds, the other with 1 king bed. The downstairs family room has a fireplace, king size bed and a queen bed. Please note that the downstairs family room has a door separating the upstairs and downstairs, but does not have a door to the hallway where the downstairs bedrooms and bathroom are located.
The downstairs bathroom has a shower/tub combination. The laundry room is available for your use but please note that it is an unfinished laundry room - it serves as a utility room only.
The gas grill is located on the front porch along with cushioned chairs and a bench swing.
A quick walk down the driveway and along a path through the trees sits the pond and fire pit. You are welcome to use this space anytime. It sits on the owner's property (Lysa and Bryan). A starter supply of wood, fire starter, a fire stick and a lighter are supplied at the fire-pit for your use.

Guest Access:
You have the entire house and yard to yourself! You are welcome to use the fire-pit and pond down the hill at the owner's house. They may even have a fire already started!
The Neighborhood:
This house sits just 3 minutes from the Blue Ridge parkway. Hop on the parkway for bike riding, hiking, fall leaves and astounding views. You can zip into the heart of downtown AVL in 10 minutes, Biltmore village (and the entrance to the Biltmore property) in 8 minutes and the Asheville municipal golf course in 7 minutes. You are as close to town as you can get, while enjoying space, land, and a tranquil mountain setting!
Getting Around:
Ubers are readily available, as well as AVL ride, a reliable taxi service.
Other Things to Note:
*Due to insurance restrictions: the following breeds are not allowed: Dobermans, Chows, Rottweilers, Akita’s, pit bulls, (American Staffordshire terriers), attack dogs, wolf hybrids.
**Please no work trucks and/or equipment. Standard passenger vehicles only! The driveway and neighborhood roads are not suitable for these type of vehicles. Thank you! **
