After a long day on the lake, retreat to one of the six comfortable bedrooms for a restorative night’s sleep. There are three bedrooms in each wing of the property, all outfitted with comfy mattresses. There is a sleeper sofa and inflatable bed in the lower level for young kids and additional guests. This property sleeps 17 guests in 8 beds and the sleeper sofa, with room for 18 total by using the twin air mattress.

The great room features gorgeous exposed wood ceilings and large windows with incredible views of the lake. Our photos don't do it justice! For entertainment, there's a large flat-screen, a home-wide Sonos system, huge wood-fired fireplace and access and a variety of board games for some quality family bonding. There is also siting nook to watch birds or just stare at the beauty of the lake.

Our home is within easy reach of the Carolina Raptor Center, the Charlotte Motor Speedway, and other local attractions. Downtown Charlotte is a mere 50-minute drive, while a 90-minute trip takes you to Asheville for a delightful day of exploration.

✔ Lake Norman State Park: Lake Norman State Park is located just across the water from the home and offers a variety of outdoor activities for families and couples. Visitors can go fishing, boating, hiking, or take a relaxing picnic by the lake.

✔ Riverbend Park: Riverbend Park is a scenic park located along the Catawba River, just a few miles from downtown Catawba. The park offers hiking trails, picnic areas, and a playground for families to enjoy.

✔ Apple Hill Orchard & Cider Mill: Apple Hill Orchard & Cider Mill is a popular destination for families and couples in the fall. Visitors can pick their own apples, enjoy fresh cider, and take a hayride through the orchard. The orchard also features a pumpkin patch and a country store.

✹ PARKING: Free parking is available for 6 vehicles in the large driveway.

✹ Wi-Fi/INTERNET: High-speed wireless internet is available throughout the home.

✹ FAMILY: Traveling with little ones? We’ve got you covered with a few supplies, including a Pack & Play/travel crib, a high chair, and baby gates.

✹ PETS: Pets are allowed with a $150 one-time pet fee with a maximum of two pets. This is a pet-friendly property, so please do not book if someone in your group has a pet allergy.

✹ STEPS: There are a few flights of steps required to go down to the dock.

✹ DOCK: Our private dock is great for those that love the water! Boaters can either bring their own boats (boat launch nearby) or rent a boat at several boat rental facilities nearby… and the water is deep!

✹ REQUIREMENTS: Guests that books must be at least 25 years old to do so. No parties or events are permitted. Photo ID may be required upon check-in.

✹ RENTAL AGREEMENT: Please note that we do require signature of our rental agreement/liability waiver within 48 hours after booking.

✹ CANCELLATIONS: If the guest cancels the booking and is entitled to a return, the return will be reduced by 3% as we initially had to pay the credit card fee.

We have one actively recording camera outside on the doorbell that records video and audio.
