Dies ist der Weg, um einige Urlaubstage zu verbringen! Dieser sehr charmante rote Bungalow mit 4 Schlafzimmern befindet sich direkt im Herzen von Northport. Dieses freundliche Dorf bietet alles, was Sie direkt vor Ihrer Tür brauchen. Zum Jachthafen, zu Stränden, zur Brauerei, zum Einkaufen und zur Bäckerei können Sie zu Fuß gehen.

Auf der oberen Ebene befinden sich 3 Schlafzimmer und eineinhalb Bäder. Das Hauptschlafzimmer und das angeschlossene Vollbad sind neu. Die anderen zwei Schlafzimmer haben Zwillinge in einem und ein volles in dem anderen. Auf der Hauptebene finden Sie ein gemütliches Wohnzimmer mit vielen Sitzgelegenheiten und einem Flachbildfernseher / Kabel / Internet. Die Küche ist aus dem Wohnbereich. Der erste Stock verfügt über ein weiteres Schlafzimmer mit einer Königin und einem Badezimmer. Es gibt eine Wäscherei und einen Sitzbereich im ersten Stock mit einem Liebessitz-Versteck. Schläft 10.

Im Freien gibt es einen schönen großen Garten, der auf der Veranda geht aus. Was für eine wirklich schöne Gegend heraus zu kühlen, Abendessen oder Ihren Morgenkaffee. Holzkohlegrill.

Northport liegt ca. 40 Minuten nördlich von Traverse City entfernt und bietet Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und Sommer-Musik und Festivals. 20 Minuten von Suttons Bay und Leland. Es gibt so viele Wanderwege, Seen zum Schwimmen, Sterne zum Beobachten und Erinnerungen.

Zentrale Klimaanlage. Ihre gut erzogene Hund ist willkommen. Bettwäsche und Handtücher werden gestellt. Rauchen verboten.

Wird kurze Aufenthalte in jeder Saison berücksichtigen. Hauptsaison 3 Nächte Minimum oder wöchentlich Sonntag bis Sonntag. Kurzaufenthalte sind während der Sommersaison erlaubt. Bei Buchungen von weniger als 7 Übernachtungen, die online gebucht werden, wird keine Anzahlung in Rechnung gestellt, bis die Reservierung am nächsten Arbeitstag von Visit Up North bestätigt wird. Das Ankunfts- und / oder Abreisedatum muss auf bestehenden Reservierungen basieren und / oder an einem Sonntag beginnen / enden. Gedenk- und Werktagswochenenden benötigen drei Nächte.

The House That Helped Us "Find" Our Relatives

We came to Northport to search for evidences of our distant relatives and ancestors. 3 brothers and two of their wives, all in our 70s, made the trip to Michigan to look for them. We were not disappointed. The house was comfortable and cozy and fit our needs exactly. It was equipped for the five of us beyond our expectations. The location put us in the middle of family's late 1800s and early 1900s stomping grounds. The four bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths and living areas of the house were the perfect staging areas for us to pour over books and family records and plan our days. Your house will forever be in the midst of our precious family memories. If ever we're back in Northport this is the house in which we want to stay.

Love the Northport Hideaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is great for a family vacation. It has Wi-Fi and AC, plus a TV you can use your own streaming services on. We love being able to walk around town and the harbor and beach. My only complaint this year is that the renters before us didn’t take the garbage can out and left it full of stinky trash. There were maggots in it. I think the cleaning crew should check that before the next renters arrive.

Cute, Clean, Quiet

The house was great! It was clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. We enjoyed the privacy of the yard and covered deck (although at least 3 people associated with the property or rental companly in some way showed up over the few days we were there). There is a nice creek running past, and it creates a relaxing atmosphere outside. The whole area in general is very nice - everthing is well taken care of and pretty all over Northern Michigan, not pretentious or manicured. We enjoyed it very much.

Great Location

We had a wedding to attend in Northport and found this house to be perfect! We loved the location; the property was just as described. It was clean, with starter soaps and paper goods, and lots of fresh towels. It was just two of us and we could easily have fit 8 more family members for sleeping as it stated, although the kitchen would have been tight. I loved being able to walk to everything and how peaceful and quiet the neighborhood was. It was fun to walk to the Bakery in the morning, over to the water's edge, shopping and restaurants. The only challenge is the steps and uneven path from the parking area. Anyone with mobility issues might have a challenge. I would definitely book this house again if we traveled that way in the future!

Perfect for everything Northport!

Reviewer Comments: We selected the Northport Village Hideaway because we knew past owners (owning 1960-2000), friends of our family (who have since passed away)! The home has been renovated in many ways which included adding a large upstairs master and full bath and outside deck area and improving the basement! I was thrilled to see that the floors still have that little uneven slope! We always laughed about that as kids! As a teenager, I wallpapered and painted the 2 small bedrooms upstairs! The home is very tastefully decorated with a nautical theme and had a fully stocked kitchen for preparing meals! I grew up spending summers in Northport with my family owning a log cabin cottage on North Shore Drive where the road turns to gravel on the water for 50 years. We sold this property (darn!) after my father passed away. The Hideaway is centrally located to walk to The Mitten, North Creek Golf Course, all the shopping downtown, Barb's, the harbor, Tom's Market and the Lake! We re-visited many places--Kehl Lake for hiking, Christmas Cove, Peterson Park and a few secret places that only our family knows about! Saw about 50 deer on drives right before sunset. Northport is a great Village and fun to go exploring! We hope to be back soon and we would definitely stay at this home!

Northport Hideaway

We had the worse weather!! Rain and 50 degrees all week. Plus we had a 9 month old. This cottage saved our vacation. Very comfortable living room, beds were wonderful and the kitchen table was perfect for card games, close to downtown so stroller walks with the baby was perfect. I’d highly recommend this property.

Perfect Hideaway for Our Ladies Weekend

We loved staying at Northport Hideaway. The house was clean, well-appointed and so accessible to the village and other nearby locations. We will definitely stay there again.

Great Place!

This place is very clean and updated. Several amenities are included and it’s very spacious. The location is great and many attractions are within walking distance. Parking is limited to 2 vehicles, but there are two community parking lots less than 5 minutes away that allow for overnight parking. We will stay here again!

Another Great Week!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had another great stay here with our friends (4 parents, 4 kids). We love being right in the village and the house is lovely, beds are comfortable, plenty of blankets and towels. The kitchen is well-appointed and it was very clean upon arrival. The art in the house is awesome as well and the work in the gardens continues to make the house more beautiful. Just a couple of things to note, 100% in the context of the fact that we absolutely plan to rent this cottage again. First, obviously not the owner's fault, maybe more aimed at future renters, but when we got there, the previous renters had clearly given their dog free run of the yard and not cleaned up after them. Second, it would be awesome to have a little outdoor fire pit for those who like to sit by the fire at night. Finally, the trash situation is not ideal - they do a Thursday pick up, but since the cottage turns over on Sunday, it was already full when we got there. The notes let you know that the trash service is picky about extra bags outside of the can, but it creates a situation where you need to get the rental company to come out and pick up the trash - they were great about doing so and we appreciated it, but it seems like there could be a better system. Overall though, great stay!

Very Good Location

This property has a great location in downtown Northport. The property does need some maintenance. There are several windows that are not functioning or signs posted not to open. The master bedroom wall switch is not connected to a light. Had to walk to a lamp next to the bed to turn on a light. the ceiling light in the master doesn't work; should have a ceiling fan with a light attached. Finally, one of the bedrooms upstairs has no HVAC vent. The bedroom air gets very stuffy.

Good for a short stay

Good for a short stay. Very old items in the house including the bedding and lighting. Lock box is little complicated to use during check in. Some plug points and outlets were sparking when in use. Overall a good place and locality needs little upgrades in the house.
