Perfect!

This place was perfect, clean, convineant to nearby restaurants, grocery, subway. The hosts were extremely helpful and nice. I would definitely stay there again!

my overall impression of the property was wonderful.

The neighborhood was good and the pictures of the property represnts exactly how it looks. They were there to greet us and help with our luggage. Property was updated and had many amenities that was very helpful. The Castillo's were very attentitive checking up on us throughout our stay. They responded immediately to all inquiries. It was very quiet and safe. I would definitely recommend and return to this location.

Great place!

We stayed at George's place during the pandemic so we could visit my sister who had a baby. The place is wonderful! It's much bigger than it seems in the pictures. We all worked and did distance learning during our week there and while we were all in the same one bedroom, we always felt we had anough space to get everything done. The place is set up like a time share - everything you need is there. And George is great. They even had some extra masks and hand sanitizer available. We ate in a lot, cooked pasta, eggs, you name it. But we also did a lot of take out. The food in Jackson Heights is amazing! On every corner there was a new place I wanted to try. George's place is in walking distance to everything, including the subway. We felt very safe our entire time there. And La Guardia is just a few minutes away. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area! Great Place!

Great Place

Everything about this place was easy. Check in, communicating with the owners, accommodations, everything. They had power ports in the two rooms, extra toiletries like soap, helped getting the luggage inside and coffee and tea. They let us in a bit early. They were friendly and helpful, leaving some menus to local places. The parking spot was key to making this place awesome. I'll stay here on all of my visits to NYC.

Wonderful Stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the property, everything was exactly as advertised and George was especially welcoming and accommodating. We needed to check in a little early and he was able to help, and he had tons of information to help navigate the neighborhood and city available for us. My daughter and I were in town for a quick trip to see the city during Christmastime and George was extremely helpful in letting me know how to get to the train and into the city, as well as great recommendations for dining & shopping in the local neighborhood. Everything was clean and comfortable and a great, safe location. We will definitely be back to stay again!

A sweet stay in the city

When you look up kindness, thoughtfulness and hospitality in the dictionary, a photo of George should appear. From a warm welcome after a late night flight, to “check in” messaging during our visit and perfectly appointed accommodations, we were more than comfortable. The space was spotless, beds were comfortable, kitchen had all we needed while in the city! Easy access to public transportation and parking for our rental car was easily accommodated in a safe neighborhood close to everything! Happy to recommend and more than lucky to have found this gem of an apartment.

Home away from home

Owners were there to greet us even though we were late arriving. The room had everything we need and more. We were able to easily navigate the subway system in and out of Manhattan daily. Loved the variety of ethnic restaurants within walking distance of this home. Great stay.

Good NYC Apartment

Nice clean well run property, ideal base in NY if you don’t want to pay Manhattan hotel prices. Easy access to the 7 train which connects to Grand Central Station , 5th Ave or Time Square all within 20-30 minutes. Plenty of decent local supermarkets, bakeries, bars & restaurants. Owners live on site so always there if you need them. All things considered this is a good alternative to overpriced hotels.

Come back every year!

George and his father are such great people. We have come back 4 years in a row and will continue to do so. The place is clean, the neighborhood feels safe and there is a parking spot which is awesome. We love it!

Perfect!

We had the best experience with George and his son. They were so easy to communicate with, and frequently checked in with us. We needed to check in a little early, and they were able to accommodate that. The apartment was better than expected and so clean. So many little additions to make or stay comfortable- plenty of extra chargers, umbrellas for a rainy day, and programmed kindle with a map of the surrounding area. And the neighborhood always felt safe, even when we returned after a late show in NYC. Overall, a fantastic experience!

Great Stay!

My daughter and I had a wonderful 2 night stay. The property was exactly as described and very clean with lots of natural light. It is a first floor apartment so you can hear people walking on the floors above but it was very minimal and never an issue. Location is great, only a few blocks from the subway and very close to a ton of restaurants, bars, and shops. Having never stayed outside of Manhattan we weren't sure what to expect but we had a great time exploring a new part of the City and experiencing a bit of Queens.

Ideallic home away from home.

Very convenient location to public transportation. Such accomodating host and very spacious and clean apt. Very thoughtful for all the little conveniences such as bar of soap, toothepaste, qtips and syran/aluminum wrap for food. Highly recommend and would easily stay here again on our next visit. Terrific stay!!

We had a great stay! The apt is exactly what we needed. Nice neighborhood, close to stores, restaurants and train station. 20-30 minute train ride to Manhattan. George and George checked us in and gave us all the info we needed, they were terrific.

Great stay!!

We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful apt. This apt and location is exactly as described! Our hosts were very nice and greeted us upon our arrival. They checked up on us to ensure all was well. The location was perfect to catch the train to Manhattan. My daughter and I felt totally safe in the neighborhood, even traveling back late from Broadway shows & Times Square (after midnight). Definitely would stay here again! 😊

The location is great. The property is super clean and spacious.

This is my first Homeaway experience. The property is well maintained, clean, in a quiet residential area yet, just minutes away from shopping and eatery. I didn't have the opportunity to use the clean kitchen but everything is there if I needed to cook a meal. Most of all, the shower is always hot! Thank you, George, for providing a home away from home.

Perfect place to stay in all ways!

My husband and I were very happy with this property. George, the host, was very friendly, attentive, and communicated promptly with us. The apartment was clean, spacious, and comfortable. It was located close to subway access and NYC, yet far enough away to be in a quiet neighborhood. It was about a 20 minute subway ride to Manhattan. I highly recommend this place. I hope it is available on our next visit to New York. It is definitely 5 stars!

second time at this property!

stayed last year with 1 Grandson...this time I brought my son, daughter in law and 11 year old Grandson...Property is immaculate and convenient to the #7 train into the city. George and his Father are gracious hosts and they bend over backwards to accomodate the needs of their guests...I would recommend this property to anyone planning a trip to NYC!!!
