Dieses gemütliche Cottage ist perfekt für diejenigen unter Ihnen, die das warme Wasser der südwestlichen Küste Floridas genießen. Wir haben einen großen, 20 x 23 Zoll großen Veranda-Raum mit wunderschönen Pflastern, großen 7-Zoll-Lüfterflügeln, einem 55-Zoll-Flachbildfernseher und vielen Sitzgelegenheiten mit unseren eleganten, robusten Gartenmöbeln aus Gusseisen. Ich verspreche Ihnen, dass Sie die meiste Zeit draußen in der Außenwand verbringen werden! Sie haben direkten Zugang zu einem Kanal, in dem ein kleines Fischerboot, ein Kanu oder ein Kajak untergebracht werden können. Außerdem stellen wir Ihnen 2 Einzelkajaks und ein Fahrrad für Männer und Frauen kostenlos zur Verfügung. Innerhalb weniger Minuten können Sie in den offenen Gewässern von Lemon Bay und dem Golf von Mexiko sein! Ausgezeichnet für diejenigen, die gerne angeln. Wir bieten auch eine Krabbenfalle an, um ein paar blaue Krabben zu fangen! Wenn Sie es vorziehen, am Strand zu liegen oder zu schwimmen, fahren Sie nur 5 Minuten, oder wenn Sie es vorziehen, zu trainieren, fahren Sie 20 Minuten mit dem Fahrrad, um den Englewood Beach zu genießen. Das örtliche YMCA ist zu Fuß erreichbar. Es bietet einen Pool, ein Spielzimmer, einen Basketballplatz, Trainingseinheiten und vieles mehr für eine sehr angemessene Gebühr. Great Little House

Such a cute house! It was close beaches and great food. The screened in lenai was great to sit and enjoy the evening. The owner was vety nice and has any easy process for checking in for you trip.

We enjoyed our stay at Ron’s cozy cottage. It was a great location, the house was clean, comfortable, and fully stocked. We especially loved the huge lanai and our dog enjoyed the fenced in yard. We look forward to staying again next year.

Comfortable house in a great location.

This house is cute and well laid out with huge screened lanai. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. The owner was available by phone to solve any problems or questions. We loved the location with easy access to the beach and to Dearborn and to downtown via Pine Street to avoid traffic. It’s even a nice easy straight shot drive over to Gasparilla via Placida Road.

Location! Location! Location!

Great house close to the beach with a lot of fun restaurants in the area. Very convenient for shopping too. Enjoyed mornings and evenings in the lanai listening to the birds and watching the iguanas and geckos outside. House was very clean and fully furnished. We had everything we needed. Host was very good at communicating and quick to respond to any questions we had.

House was very clean and very well stocked!

Great owners to deal with! Would definitely stay here again. House has everything you need!! House sits on a canal that leads out to the boat ramp on placida road. Took my 20' action craft right to the house. You have to go under two bridges but as long as you don't have a tower or T-top you will be fine. The house has a small dock with power. Would definitely stay again!!

Thanksgiving Week in Englewood

We booked the rental for Thanksgiving week prior to Hurricane Ian. We have friends north of Englewood who gave us the scope of how the area was impacted and figured enough was “back to normal” that we kept the reservation. We are so glad that we did. The house was perfect for our family of 4 and could easily have accommodated 2 more adults without feeling crowded. The home had a nice covered and screened in porch area in the back. The house was well stocked with pans, plates, towels, charcoal BBQ, etc… A few homes in the neighborhood were severely impacted by Ian but most had little damage. The rental had NO visible damage. Restaurants were open along Manasota Key Road which is a. great road for a bike ride. Beaches are 10 minutes away and downtown Venice is about 25 minutes to the north. When back in the area, we’d rent again.

Continue to love Englewood

This "cozy cottage" was delightful. The screen room has plenty of comfortable furniture, a large TV, and a table that seats 6. Just inside the patio doors is a cute room with a table that seats 4 and a desk. Just outside the screen room is a patio with table, chairs, and a BBQ. Laundry room has a large area for folding. The neighborhood is quiet. Lots of space between homes and large yards. Shed for the bikes and kayaks just a few feet from the canal dock. Canal goes all the way to Lemon Bay. Plenty of access to the many waterways within 15 minutes. Bed is cozy. Master bath is newly renovated. Kitchen has everything you need and a large kitchen island with 4 stools. Opens to the living room. Two other bedrooms and bathroom were not needed by us. CVS, and 2 grocery stores are a 5 minute drive away. Can't say enough about Ron. He responded to any questions or problems we had within minutes. We look forward to returning next year.

Cozy Cottage is Clean and Cozy

We loved this house. It is very clean and nice. The back yard was great for our dog. The beds are very nice and comfortable. The house is beautiful inside. They even had crayons in a bucket and I had forgotten me granddaughters crayons for her coloring books, so she was very happy. The screened lanai is wonderful to sit out and watch TV in the evenings. My son's girlfriend said it was like a beautiful GLAMPING place. I had never heard this word so I asked her to elaborate, She said you know a GLAMOROUS Camping space. We relaxed and watched TV out there in the evenings. This is really a great place and we will be back. We have been conning to Englewood since I was a teen and I carried on the tradition with my own family. The owner is very sweet and helpful and answers very quickly with any questions you may have,. Love it here! We also took our Bay Boat it's 20ft wouldn't suggest something much bigger then that the house sits near the end of the canal and gets narrow. Great place and close to everything. If 76 degrees isn’t you comfortable temp be prepared to be hot.

The house is overall nice, my main problem with this stay was the AC. Once you arrive you read the instructions and it states 76 degrees is a comfortable temp and that’s the recommended temperature for the house. We’ll we all had a good laugh at that since we keep our house very cool year round. 68 degrees to be exact. So we go to turn the thermostat down but it will only turn down to 72 since it’s locked out buy the owner and will go down no further. I’m not super happy about that but turn the fans on and decide to live with it. Wake up the first night sweating, go check the temperature and it back at 76. Figured it was a fluke or a setting. Wrong the owner throughout the stay day and night several times a day would set it back to 76. I mean I paid close to 4K dollars I think I have a right to be comfortable and I could have lived with the 72 degrees but who the heck sets their thermostat to 76. Another thing I didn’t like about the house was the fact it has inside cameras. I know it says they are turned off but who is going to trust that. We put paper plates in front of the inside cameras. Just kinda creepy. Outside cameras I understand. If it wasn’t for these two major issues I would not hesitate to stay at this house again.

Such a family/pet friendly home!

My family really enjoyed staying in this home. It is very comfortable and just enough room for my family of 5 plus our dog. The fenced in backyard worked perfect for our girl. And the lanai was so wonderful for morning coffee to an evening hangout. Definitely recommend this place. Also, Ron was great with communicating and making sure everything looked good. Thanks Ron!

Great home/location and super simple process.

We were staying in town to visit local family for the holidays and this was just the perfect solution for us. The home was clean and as described, the check-in process was super simple and clear. Nice home in great location,..

This home is very clean and well maintained. The bedrooms are spacious and the fenced in yard is great if you have a pet. The location is close to many restaurants and shops, and just a short drive to the beach. Would recommended to others. 😊

Nice place, accommodating and communicative owner

We all enjoyed our time here. The property is clean, neighborhood is quiet. The location was exceptionally convenient for our event and there is a strong likelihood we'll rent from them again. The owner's articulate communication is a big help, made everything super easy! The only real complaints I could issue, are really actually kinda nit picky. I'll only list them as pointers to turn this into a 5 star :-) We are all big foodies, we rent places like this so we can cook. The cookware could be updated, some cast iron skillets and quality knives would go a long way. Then theres the cameras. Its fully discolsed before you rent, and they are turned off- but its still weird. Im just not a fan of cameras inside private residences, especially when I have no access to the monitor. I understand why they are there- still not a fan🤷🏻‍♂️

We met as childhood sweethearts and have been married for over 45 plus years! During that time we raised six children. We retired and have close ties to the Washington, D.C. area where most of our children are still located.

We found this cute home and fell in love with the area. We have a pet dog and our fenced in yard is great. We are just minutes to the beach and love that we can get into the canal with our Kayaks right from our backyard. We believe Englewood is a hidden gem along the southwestern Florida coastline.

We found that this is a great fishing town and if you're lucky and like crabs then enjoy our crap trap and make some crab cakes! If you own a small boat, you can use our backyard canal access and you'll be in the open waters in just minutes. We really enjoy sitting in our large enclosed screen room with the Florida breezes, Flat screen TV and our very large fan overhead to keep you comfortable! A great place to create family memories.
