Beware/Avoid at all Costs
This awful stay with The Stay and the terrible customer service experience with the host and VRBO are why I will no longer use VRBO. We got in super late, so didn't have a choice to stay or not for the night. Only given half a refund after 40 emails. Everything that went wrong:
Parking lot is full of trash
The first door you go through- no idea if the code works or not as it does not lock at all. It's kept propped open by the residents.
The first hallway to go through is disgusting. It's dirty, there is trash, and it smells awful.
There is a code to go back through this hallway to get to the parking lot. The code provided does not work, which means we have to walk all the way around the block to the parking lot, enter the parking lot code, and walk through the parking lot just to get back to our car.
There is an alarm constantly ringing in the building. You can hear it from the 4th-floor hallway.
The hallways to get to the unit are also disgusting and smell. They are dirty, full of trash, and the rubber edging from the stairs is falling off in places.
Elevator broken. Have to walk AROUND the building and then up 4 flights of stairs to get to our unit.
There are two cockroaches found inside the unit.
There is no parking decal as promised.
The trash can is broken.
Only one of us can leave the unit at a time as the front door won't lock from the outside. Video to come. We cannot lock it for The Stay as we leave today.
Kpods but no k machine.
