This historic row house is just steps from the Convention Center, blocks from the metro station and a few minutes drive to all of DC’s major monuments. You can walk to trendy restaurants and shops.
Our historic home is charming and fully equipped with modern appliances and amenities. Its 7 bedrooms, 4 full baths, 1 half bath, 2 fireplaces, and full kitchen set-up is ideal for families and groups alike. Considering its central location, you won’t want to pass it up!

● There is also a half bathroom on the main level by the dining room
● We provide toilet paper, soap, shampoo, and towels, and there is also a hairdryer and clothes steamer available

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMERS
The house is centrally located in a wonderful lively area with constant foot traffic, great restaurants, etc. The primary bedroom faces the street. If you are an especially light sleeper, or value quiet over location, we may not be a good fit for you. We provide ear plugs for your comfort.
Please note that this is a row house with a separate basement level unit so you may see us / others staying in the lower level unit.
The house is a historic DC rowhome that is over 130 years old (built in the 1890s!). We tried to preserve as much history/character of the house including the original pine wood floors, which means that some of the floors are squeaky. We ask that you please take care to preserve the unique history of this historic DC rowhome while you enjoy your stay in DC, and take care to not damage any delicate item!
Most of the bedrooms are on the smaller side (except the primary room), ranging from 70 - 80 sq ft. When the trundle beds are pulled out for use, the beds will take up the majority of those rooms. For this reason, we have foldable/collapsible side tables, desks, and chairs which are stored in each room's closet for maximum flexibility.
The primary bedroom upstairs tends to be on the warmer/cooler side during the summer/winter (as it has the most windows). In addition to closing the window shutters and using the ceiling fan, we also provide a large portable air conditioner/heater and large portable fan in the closet, to help circulate air in this room.
Parking 🚙
The parking pad in the back can typically accommodate up to a mid-size SUV / Minivan. Part of the parking pad is underneath the deck posts, which can accommodate a vehicle that is 83 inches wide and 79 inches high. If you're vehicle does not fit in the parking pad space, there is usually street parking available in the area. Pay attention to all parking signs to avoid tickets! If you'll have more than one vehicle, there are several paid parking lots 5-7 mins walking distance from the place.
HOUSE RULES
Guests MUST read our entire listing, including our house rules section - booking our home is a legally binding contract that you agree to abide by all rules, disclaimers, and pay any corresponding fees as a result of violations!
***Any intentional violation of house rules may result in added fees and / or immediate termination of the remaining booking without refund.***
***If there are ANY issues during your stay, we MUST be notified immediately.***
***Any damages, additional cleaning fees, rules violations caused by guests / pets (including excessive dog fur, pet waste, makeup stains on white towels, excessive stains on linens, quiet hour disturbances, late checkouts, etc.) will be billed directly to the guest and reported to listing channel, as applicable).***

🚭 NO SMOKING - Evidence of smoking will result in a $500 fine (minimum).
This is the starting fee charged for the use of Ozone to remove odors.
🎉⛔ NO PARTIES OR VISITORS: We do not allow parties at the house or allow outside visitors (i.e. those not staying at the property as part of your reservation). Any person entering the property (regardless if they're staying overnight) is considered a guest and is to be reflected in the total guest count. All guests are to be disclosed prior to the start of a stay. No unregistered guests or visitors at any time ($250 fee per person, per occurrence).
🤫 QUIET HOURS 11PM-7AM: You MUST keep noise to a minimum from 11pm to 7am. As a row house the walls are shared with the neighbors. Noise can travel easily, and we are in regular communication with neighbors. We request guests be respectful of the neighbors and quiet hours. Our home is equipped with a noise monitoring device which will notify you and us if noise is detected during quiet hours. Ignoring such notifications and calls will result in a $500 fine per 30 minutes of sustained higher than allowed noise levels. This fee is charged for the involvement of hosts, listing channel, noise monitoring representatives, and authorities after hours to monitor and respond to noise issues
⏰ Check-in / Check-out
Check-in after 4pm / check-out before 10am. The booking guest who is listed on the booking summary must check-in before any other guests may enter the property and must be physically present at check-out. Prior to arrival, booking party must be sure that guests staying at the property are listed in the agreement signed by booking party (this includes human and pet guests). Late check-outs will receive a 15-minute grace period. Late check-outs of more than 15 minutes will be subject to a $100 fine and an additional $100 for each additional hour. We are unable to make changes to our check-in / check-out times as a result of our cleaning team’s schedule that depends on us providing them a window so they can organize their schedule.

🐕 Pets: If staying with a pet(s), please give advance notice with description of pet(s). Prior approval of all pets is required.
We are unable to accommodate animals other than dogs at this time.
• Any and all animals must be pre-approved by owner prior to booking • service animals must be disclosed at the time of booking • up to 2 dogs allowed ($75/dog) • must be housebroken and up-to-date on vaccines • may not be left unattended at any time • back gate must be left closed when not in use • must be leashed in front yard • must comply with all local leash laws.
🔍 For any items left behind after a stay, we're happy to send them to you via UPS / FedEx - please note there is a minimum trip fee of $20 for a member of our team to make a trip to send an item (for time, mileage, parking, etc). We are not responsible for items left behind which may be discarded / lost! Please look carefully when checking-out to avoid leaving items behind!
🧴 Please do not take or discard any bottles, even if they're empty (soap, shampoo, conditioner, makeup remover, etc) as we refill them between guests. Replacement fees apply for any and all missing items!
💌 We do not accept any deliveries for guests - DO NOT SHIP ANYTHING TO OUR HOME as it will not be accepted and will be returned to sender. If you need to have something delivered during your stay, please send it to a nearby Amazon locker, UPS and FedEx have hold package services, etc. We are not responsible for lost / missing deliveries!
