Professionally managed three (3) bedroom suite located in the West Woodlawn Neighborhood of Chicago ~ close to everything, including the 400-acre Olmstead designed Washington Park, with lagoons for boating, fishing pier, and free public swimming park; golf courses at 600-acre Jackson Park and harbors; and the future home of the Obama Presidential Center ~ all a short distance away in this emerging “walkable village.”

At our Great Migration Guest House you can engage our Blacks in Green social enterprise, BIG HERITAGE TOURS, which will introduce you to the genius, courage, creativity, enterprise, and loving spirit of the Great Migration that prospered American cities like Chicago, and be hosted on visits to its Black House Museums, historic Bronzeville sites, and many authentic BlackChicago destinations overlooked by Chicago’s tourism industry.

The Great Migration Guest House features suites for different preferences ~ Pleasure in Everything is our most spacious room, with queen bed; Daytripper is cozy and lush, with double bed and vanity; and Wisdom, is ideal for visiting academics, with a foldout sofa bed, desk, and plush reading chair with ottoman. The living room features an additional sleeper couch. The suite hosts a fully equipped cook’s kitchen with stainless steel appliances including microwave and dishwasher, full cutlery service, dining room area for six (6), in-unit laundry, smart tv’s with free Netflix service in the living room and in each bedroom; and all utilities plus wifi are included. Flowerful garden deck in the rear, with backyard featuring vegetable garden, grilling area, and free off-street gated parking. Luxury appointments throughout, including all linens, housewares, and cleaning supplies for an exquisite short or long-term stay.
