Nestled in the serene Cascade Shores community in the Sierra Foothills, this bright and beautiful home offers a warm and cozy atmosphere with modern furnishings. Cascade Shores features one of the most beautiful lakes in the area, Scotts Flat Lake. Surrounded by majestic pine trees, the lake offers a picturesque setting reminiscent of Lake Tahoe but, at a lower elevation, it is much more suitable for water activities.

The property boasts four bedrooms, three full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, and a deck and patio with stunning mountain views. Spread over three levels, it features multiple living areas for guests to enjoy.

IMPORTANT: No more worrying about the power going out. This house is equipped with a whole house generator for your convenience. It automatically turns on when the power goes out.

GUEST ACCESS
As guests, you will have access to the entire house except the following: small pantry by the kitchen, laundry room storage and garage. There are some locked closets and cupboards for private storage.

Our property is located at a high elevation. During winter months there may be snow storms that can affect the accessibility to the home. Four wheel drive may be required.

There can be fire dangers in our area. The only outdoor fires allowed are in the propane fire pit. During high fire season the fire pit is off limits.

During fire season and winter months there may be unexpected power outages. Hosts will communicate if there are any preplanned outages. There is a propane generator that will click on to provide power if an unplanned power outage should occur during your trip.

IMPORTANT: We have two security cameras that face the driveway and the back of the house. There is also a ring doorbell camera. Cameras can be turned off remotely at request except for the doorbell camera.

Important Notice: Trip Insurance Recommendation

To ensure peace of mind during your stay, we highly recommend all guests purchase trip insurance, especially during fire season. This will help cover any unexpected changes or disruptions due to environmental conditions or other unforeseen circumstances. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities, and trip insurance provides an added layer of protection for your vacation plans.
Please be sure to read this rental agreement (the “Agreement”) in its entirety. The vacation rental property you have selected (the “Vacation Rental”) may have additional rules, policies, terms and conditions that apply to your stay, which are found in the description section(s) of the Vacation Rental listing. Among others, this Agreement contains the following important terms:
• Any payments you make are non-refundable. Please read the cancellation policy carefully before booking and consider purchasing travel insurance (Section 2).
• You are releasing JC Property Solutions LLC and the homeowner from certain types of liability and agreeing to assume certain risks on behalf of yourself and each individual present during the stay (Sections 12 & 13); you are aware that traveling may increase your risk of contracting COVID-19.
• This Agreement requires claims to be resolved through Arbitration (Section 17).
• This Agreement contains a Jury Trial wavier and a Class action waiver (Section 19).

1. BOOKING TRANSACTION. JC Property Solutions LLC provides the Vacation Rental subject to the terms of this Agreement. You agree that you will be present at the Vacation Rental for the entire duration of the reservation and that you will be responsible for the actions and behavior of each individual present at the Vacation Rental during your stay. This includes ensuring everyone in your party or otherwise present at the Vacation Rental (each an “occupant”) is aware of and in compliance with the terms identified in this Agreement. If you are bringing a minor as an occupant, you acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for the supervision of that minor throughout the duration of your stay and agree to the terms of this Agreement on each minor’s behalf.
2. PAYMENT TERMS & CANCELLATION. The total amount due, including the base rates, taxes, and fees are displayed on the checkout webpage for the Vacation Rental. A portion of your total payment may be due upon checkout, as indicated in the “amount to be charged now” line. The balance is due prior to arrival within the schedule indicated on the reservation webpage. Please review these amounts carefully.
