On either side of the living room, you can step outside via sliding glass doors to access the front deck or backyard. The front deck is perfect for dining al fresco with an outdoor table, while the peaceful backyard is great for relaxing in the sunshine or enjoying late-night chats under the stars with two outdoor couches and a fire pit. Prepare meals in the kitchen, a chef’s paradise with industrial burners, a Wells griddle, a beverage fridge, and a full range of appliances! On this side of the home, there is also the 2nd bedroom with a queen bed, a workspace, and plenty of storage room. A full bath with a bathtub/shower combo is near these 2 bedrooms for shared use. On the other wing of the home are the 2 bunk rooms. The 3rd bedroom features 3 twin beds, including a twin-over-twin bunk bed that is great for kids to share. The 4th bedroom boasts a twin-over-twin bunk bed and a twin trundle bed! A 2nd full bath with a spacious walk-in shower is near these bedrooms.

The home is less than a mile from the beautiful Donner Lake, between the towns of Soda Springs and Truckee, a great location for year-round fun. HWY 80 is minutes away, providing easy access to the surrounding areas. If you are looking for a place to stay for a skiing trip, you can’t beat this home. There are multiple ski resorts for every type just a short drive away! For a family-friendly option, head over to Donner Ranch Resort or Soda Springs Mountain Resort. Want to get in some advanced terrain? Sugar Bowl Resort, less than 5 miles away, is for you! Or, enjoy some night skiing at the only resort to offer night skiing in Tahoe, Boreal Mountain Resort.

In the summertime, make the short drive or walk over to Donner Lake Marina for a day filled with water activities. While there is no public transportation nearby, you can drive to the town of Truckee, 14 minutes away, where you will find bus routes that will take you to Northstar Ski Resort, Kings Beach, and Tahoe City. With 3 ski resorts less than 10 miles away, you can quickly be on the slopes. For those looking for a bit more city life, both Tahoe City and Kings Beach are under a 30-minute drive away.

Please note that, like most homes in Tahoe, this home does not have A/C.

• Check-in is anytime after 4PM
• 50% of payment is due upfront and the rest of the payment is due (14) days before arrival.
• Booking Fee: We charge an additional, non-refundable fee of 2% of the total payment to cover the cost of booking processing.
• The credit card holder must provide a picture of the back and front of their ID via a secure and encrypted portal upon confirmation for fraud protection.
• Please promptly respond to any inquiries or requests for additional information to ensure the confirmation of your booking; failure to respond in a sufficient manner may lead to cancellation of the reservation.
