Nestled high above the pristine waters of Lake James, our property boasts one of the best vantage points in the area. From the back patio and screened-in porch, you can take in the stunning panoramas of Grandfather Mountain, Linville Gorge, and the shimmering lake. Our open-concept living space allows you to enjoy these mountain views from almost any location within the house.
The home features a one-story, split-bedroom design that comfortably accommodates up to 6 adults. You'll find a cozy and spacious environment with uploaded floor plans for your convenience. For those who need to stay connected or work remotely, we offer a designated office with WIFI throughout. When it's time to unwind, gather around for a game night or enjoy your favorite shows on our Smart TVs (please note that cable/satellite is not provided, but guests can use their own apps to sign in).
Outdoors, relax on our screened porch or gather by the fire pit for some storytelling and stargazing. Use our telescope to get a closer look at the night sky, or explore the community's walking trails, where wildlife sightings are a delightful bonus.
For the boating enthusiasts, a private boat slip is included with your rental. You can bring your own boat or rent one from a local marina to spend blissful days on the water. Located inside the community are walking trails, a covered pavilion, and the boat slip is just a short drive away.

The towns of Marion and Morganton are the closest for all your needs, offering groceries, shopping, dining, and hospitals. If you're looking to venture further, head to Asheville's eclectic downtown, the Biltmore Estate, and Black Mountain's historic streets, where you’ll enjoy locally sourced restaurants, charming boutiques, and captivating art galleries – all within a 30-45 min drive.

Please note: There are honey bee hives at the edge of the front yard. If anyone in your group has allergies, please be aware. The hives are located at the far end of the property and, if left undisturbed, should not pose a problem.
