House was just as described. It is a little small, nothing fancy but for our short 2 night stay and low cost this was perfect. Would recommend

Great location, some opportunities for improvement

This property is in a good location of LA, seems safe to walk around and explore. The property itself has a lot of potential and there is room for improvement to meet 5 stars. Upon arrival Google maps led us to the property across the street and took us some time walking up and down the street to find the unit. Sharing this just in case other's encounter this scenario, and should be included in the check in details which was not sent in advance and had to message the host to receive them. Place looked clean at first, but we later found some inconsistencies. Like other's have mentioned no place to hang towels in either bathroom making showering uncomfortable, AC was super loud, doors were squeaky and woke each other up when going to bathroom in the middle of the night. We also heard footsteps on the roof and something dropping. There was also a party in the main house on our first night, and the guests were up till 3am in the morning, and we could hear them clearly even with the window closed. We had kids and we were hoping to keep them occupied with some shows while we unpacked and got settled, but the remote was no where to be found and communicated this to the host but did not get this resolved. On the plus side there is plenty of closet space to store luggage and clothes, and the kitchen had all utensils and pots and pans we needed to cook a meal. Overall the property has potential just need some minor maintenance upkeep as well as better communication with guests.

Not Recommended

Pro’s: 1. The place is pretty new/updated, spacious, nice number of sofas in the living area along with a pull-out sofa, and nice to have 2 bathrooms. 2. The air conditioning is strong and works great. 3. There is easy street parking. Cons: 1. There was no remote control for the television. I informed the host right away, but was ignored. It was the last weekend of the Olympics and we really want to watch some of that. There was a previous review noting that there was no remote control so they should have been aware of the situation. I asked for some reimbursement for not having a TV for two nights but they ignored my request. 2. VRBO was no help either. I will definitely use their competitor in the future if I have a choice. 3. The place is only superficially clean. You can see that there is grime in areas that are not easily reached like behind faucets. There was also some sticky grime on the bottom of drawers which was an unpleasant surprise when you went to open them. The cabinets/drawers have no handles 4. Some of the bedsheets look stained 5. There are no hooks or towel racks in the bathrooms which makes showering inconvenient. Nowhere to hand stuff 6. We had to Google the operator’s manual for the door locks. There should be clear directions on the unit how to use the locks 7. The place is available for events, and there was a loud party that lasted until about 1 AM in the main house hosted by the same company. 8. I would not stay there again or recommend it.

Best LA Trip

House was small area but had perfect amount of space for everyone to sleep and hangout. Loved that it was so close to all the places I wanted to go to overall it was a great place to stay and had no issues.

We were very happy with our stay here. The location was central to everything LA. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. We would definitely stay there again.

Let down

The area was nice but the house was small. There wasn't a remote for the TV. We contacted the owners and were not helped. Traveling withkids this was a big inconvenience. I wouldn't stay here again.
