Casa Mar Vista - Stylish home with Lush Views

Casa Mar Vista is a classic 1960's built California style home with sweeping views and a large backyard. Close to the beach, San Diego Safari Park, Lego Land & other popular attractions, this home is a spa-like sanctuary to come home to after a day of fun.

The space
Get away from the hustle and bustle in this quiet and inviting home! Built in the 1960's, this house has a mid-century style open floor plan with lots of windows and skylights letting in natural light. Facing west on a hillside gives the home amazing valley views from the deck, living room, kitchen, and most bedrooms in the house.

The bright and open kitchen is fully stocked with dinnerware and flatware for eight, ample cooking supplies, toaster, blender, Cuisinart mixer, coffee maker, modern induction cooktop, and a stacked oven/microwave unit. The open floor plan allows you to still be in the mix with your friends and family or watching a movie while cooking up a storm.

The dining room is open to the kitchen and living space, and has seating for 6 to 8 people at the solid hardwood table.

The large living room has lots of comfortable seating on the leather sofa for relaxing with friends and family while playing a board game, watching a movie, or enjoying a fire.

All four bedrooms come with very comfortable, high quality mattresses, down feather pillows, and natural cotton and linen bedcovers. There is an AC / Heat vent and ceiling fan in each bedroom with individual controls for personal comfort.

Both bathrooms are stocked with plush towels, organic shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap. The main bathroom has a tub with shower, lots of space and a large mirror. The master bathroom is smaller with no bathtub, but it has two showers - one walk-in shower inside and a semi-private outdoor shower that is accessible through a side door in the bathroom.

The back deck is perfect for barbecuing on the gas grill and outdoor dining at the picnic table. The deck also has a custom built outdoor daybed surrounded with passion fruit vines. The yard sits on a rolling hillside. Below the deck you'll find a grassy lawn with a trampoline and fruit trees.

We provide basic beach supplies such as, a cooler, two zero-gravity beach chairs, two good quality boogie boards, an extra portable grill, and a variety of kids toys in the shed near the hot tub.

Guest access
The whole house, front and back yards are yours to enjoy! The garage is locked and not available for guests to use. There is access to the lower garden along the side of the house behind a privacy fence and trees that the host may use during your stay. It will not encroach on your privacy and will most likely be unnoticed.
