Welcome to our centrally located 2 bed/ 2 bath condo - just a short walk away from downtown Blowing Rock! Bring your furry friends - we're dog friendly. Pack light - the unit is stocked with the basic amenities to make you feel at home.
It's sad to see summer go, but fall is a magical time to visit the mountains! Cool crisp air and anticipation of the changing leaves makes it easier to say goodbye to the summer heat.
THE SPACE:
Welcome to our cozy condo where you can enjoy a comfy space to disconnect from everyday life. Catch up on your favorite shows with two 55" Roku TVs, cook up your favorite meals in the fully equipped kitchen, or stroll to downtown Blowing Rock for an amazing meal before retreating to the new hotel quality beds.
SLEEPING:
The space features 2 bedrooms both with en-suite bathrooms., clean and comfy linens and brand new mattresses:
Bedroom One:
- 1 king-sized bed
- Full en-suite bathroom (tub/shower combo)
- 55” Roku TV
- Dresser and clothing rack.
Bedroom Two:
- 1 queen-sized bed
- Full en-suite bathroom (tub/shower combo)
- Desk with task chair
- Walk in closet
**Note - the condo has air conditioning in the main living space but not in the bedrooms. The mountain air usually cools down in the evenings so most prefer to open windows to cool the space and enjoy the mountain breeze. You can also leave the bedroom doors open if you wanted to circulate the cooler air from the living space. There is a portable fan in both bedrooms.
DOG FRIENDLY:
Furry friend? No problem! Our condo is dog-friendly, for up to 2 dogs w/ 35 lb max weigh (this is per HOA rules and strictly enforced). Please note that there is a pet fee to cover additional cleaning and wear and tear. There is a specific lawn area for dog walking as they are not permitted to be walked in the courtyard of the building.
FULL KITCHEN:
The condo offers a full kitchen with all the essentials, including an electric range, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, and dual Keurig coffee maker (accommodates k-cups or drip coffee). There are dishes, glassware, pots and pans, cookie sheets, and utensils. We provide a starter kit of K-cups of coffee, coffee creamer, sugar, and sweetener as well as basic seasonings and cooking oil.
BATHROOM/s:
There is a full bath off each bedroom with a combination tub and shower. We provide towels as well as shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand soap. There is a hair dryer in each vanity.
HEATING/COOLING:
There is a wall unit cooling/heating unit in the dining area of the condo. The AC keeps the living space comfortable or we recommend embracing the mountain air and opening the windows to get a nice breeze throughout the condo. There is no AC in the bedrooms so you'll want to open the windows or may want to leave the bedroom doors open to circulate AC from the living space. There is baseboard heat which keeps the condo cozy during cooler months. There are gas logs in the fireplace, which is turned off during the summer months, and available from late September through April.
SUPPLIES:
We provide basic cleaning supplies and dish soap, as well as a starter kit of paper towels and toilet paper. Bed linens and towels (one set per guest) are also provided, along with basic amenities such as hand soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. For longer stays, you may want to bring a few extra towels and toiletries. There is a washer and dryer in the condo that you’re welcome to use.
OTHER DETAILS:
The condo is located on the 2nd story of 3 floors. There is no elevator so you will need to use a set of stairs to get to the unit. It is common to hear noise from the unit above or from guests in the courtyard or adjoining units. The community is made up of other vacation rentals, full time residents and second homes. It's a very friendly community, we like our neighbors, and ask that you follow the simple HOA rules:
- Pet friendly for up to 2 dogs with a max weight of 35 lbs. There is a designated area to walk dogs. They are not allowed to be walked in the courtyard directly outside the unit but you’ll see a lawn area a short distance outside with room to roam.
- Quiet hours in Blowing Rock between 11pm - 7am.
- Parking is for up to 2 cars. One car can park right outside the courtyard, the other can park in the overflow lot, which is approx ~30 ft away.
