Das Haus ist nach Südwesten ausgerichtet und bietet den ganzen Tag über Sonnenlicht und Wärme.

Dieses 2012 individuell gestaltete Cape Cod Home ist das Beste, was die Inseln zu bieten haben. Strategisch gelegen, um die atemberaubende Aussicht auf Westcott Bay zu genießen, wurde dieses Haus als Sommerferienwohnung konzipiert. Mit über 1.900 m² Wohnbereich im Freien wird dieses Haus der Mittelpunkt Ihres Familienurlaubs sein.

Mit einer Innen- und einer Außenküche werden Sie an diesen endlosen Sommertagen nicht derjenige sein, der im Inneren steckt. Lehnen Sie sich zurück und schauen Sie sich einen Film AUSSEN auf den überfüllten Gartenmöbeln an, während Sie makellose Bilder auf dem 52-Zoll-HDTV von Sony BRAVIA ansehen (3D-fähig, wir liefern jedoch keine Brille). Braten Sie Marshmallows um Ihre private Feuerstelle.

Der offene Grundriss verfügt über eine gut ausgestattete Küche mit Induktionskochfeld, Sub Zero-Kühlschrank und eine große Mittelinsel, von der aus man einen weiten Blick durch das Wohn- und Esszimmer hat. Passende 8-Zoll-Türen und Fensterhöhe sorgen dafür, dass Sie keinen Sonnenuntergang oder die vorbeiziehende Tierwelt verpassen. Drei Queen-Schlafzimmer im Erdgeschoss und ein großes 4. Schlafzimmer / Schlafraum im Obergeschoss bieten Platz für bis zu 10 Personen, aber Sie werden es schwer haben, Ihre Kinder davon abzuhalten, unter dem Sternenhimmel zu schlafen.
Gerne können Sie sich mit den im Garten des Anwesens angebauten Produkten beschäftigen oder Äpfel, Birnen und Pflaumen aus dem Obstgarten pflücken. Ihre Familie wird Freizeitaktivitäten wie Radfahren, Golf, Wandern, Spa, Sightseeing und Walbeobachtung genießen.

Wir haben einen gemeinsamen Whirlpool für die Eigenschaft. Es liegt in der Nähe des Gartens, also mindestens 100 Meter von jedem der Häuser entfernt, um keinen unserer Gäste zu stören. Es gibt auch einen privaten Whirlpool am Haus vom Achterdeck mit Blick auf das Wasser mit spektakulärer Aussicht.

Exceeded our Expectations

The house, the property and the location were all wonderful. It comfortably fit our family of 4 couples. We loved the home's outdoor spaces, view of the bay, the hot tub and the quiet (except for the geese who also loved the yard), spacious property as well as the easy access to nearby trails. We would rent this house again.

Good place for older kids and adults

The area is wonderful. For small children it wasnt so great to stay. The loft is only accessible from the outside, same with the 2nd bathroom. No tubs juat showers which isn't the easiest with small kids. Felt cramped for 10 of us. Love love love the covered deck. The view is spectacular.

Stunning Property

This is an absolutely stunning property! Absolutely perfect for our large group. Deer wandering through yard. Gorgeous water views. Our only issue was finding and accessing the property. We were sent the incorrect address and the incorrect door access code. We spent over an hour driving around trying to find the house based on google maps and comparison with photos. We did get a call later explaning that it was a glitch in their computer system, but it was still quite frustrating after a long day travelling.

Weekend at Roche Harbor

Really loved this place, we would definitely stay again! You cannot beat the beautiful view and private house, hot tub was working just fine and we cooked some great meals while here.

Great location

The house is well sited and a short distance from Roche Harbor and the Westcott oyster farm. Very scenic and peaceful looking out over Westcott bay. It’s well set up for families with the separate bunkhouse unit walled off from the rest of the house. Some of the plumbing fixtures, and supplies were in need of repair and the main bathroom vaulted window is open to the living area so one hears others bathroom business but nothing significant. Note the beach is not suitable for swimming as it is a mudflat with shells and restricted access. It was exactly what we expected and would recommend to others that want to explore the island and take in the beauty of nature.

Great Long Weekend Getaway

Beautiful view of Wescott Bay. The house and property were clean on comfortable. Very well stocked kitchen. The fire pit was a plus. Short walk to Roche Harbor where we were keeping our boat. We will be back!

Nice, but not without issues

The location was excellent, but the managers were slow to answer questions before arrival, particularly about the hot tub, which turned out to be unavailable until the end of the week. There were also some COVID restrictions on the neighborhood which were not detailed ahead of time.

The listing is not as advertised!

1.Arrived at house, all flower pots dead and trash around garbage can. 2.Deck and patio were filthy, bird poop and broken shells everywhere, on deck, patio and outdoor furniture. 3. Grill was filthy, grease trap over flowing. We had to clean it to grill that night, also barely any propane in tank. 4. Hot tub had not been serviced, no chemicals in floater and water level was low. 5. Outside TV is not connected, does not work. 6. Outside propane fire pit does not work. 7. Main bathroom hot water handle is broken off. 8. The sliding door, from the covered deck, to the house has no handle and can not lock. We found a stick to keep the door secure for security reasons while we where out or sleeping. 9

Beautiful waterfront location

If you want lots of space, privacy and beautiful sunrises and sunsets, then this is the perfect location! We enjoyed the beauty of the view constantly throughout our stay and would stay here again. There are a couple of nuances to the house such as there is only one bathroom in the main part of the house as the second bathroom is accessible by going through the outside living area. The bathroom in the main part is unique in that there is a section of the upper wall that is open so the sounds can be heard in the living room by others so not fully private. All in all the view, the wildlife and privacy exceeded our expectations!

Beautiful Large House for a Getaway

Our stay was perfect! The views simply from the backyard were gorgeous and I would highly recommend this property. The pictures are a little deceiving as one must walk outside to get to the loft that has the rest of the beds. There were also only about 5 bath towels for showers so we were constantly using the dryer so our group had enough dry towels. Besides, that I would definitely rent this place again when staying in Roche Harbor.

The property has a beautiful view. The house's open floor plan and the outdoor patios are great. The beds could be more comfortable. Unfortunately the geese have overrun the yard making the grass unpleasant to stroll on. All and all we had a very nice stay.

Beautiful property

The beach house is on a beautiful property. The house itself was a little quirky in the design and layout. There were quite a few broken items in the house and though mostly clean it lacked a few essential items, like dish towels. The other bummer about the property was there were tons of geese. Where there are tons of geese, there is also tons of geese poop!!! It was everywhere!

Great location for lots of activities. Daily visits to Roche Harbor Resort pool and tennis court. Lots of soaks in the hot tub and fires and someone’s in the fire pit.

Expensive lovely property with sub standard amenities

The location, property, and water views that enticed us to rent this home were well represented in the advertisement, but the inadequacies we experienced are the reason for this poor review. Without getting into the drama that the owners are having with all their neighbors, I will list the things that were very disappointing considering the price point for this rental. There are no window coverings for the living area of the house. The house has a western exposure so from noon to sunset there is nowhere to go to get out of the blazing sun. The air conditioner is undersized for the home so the temperature in the house never got below 78 degrees during the day!! The furniture is worn out and needs to be replaced, and the beds are awful. The hinge on the refrigerator door was badly damaged and the seal didn't work, so the temperature hovered around 50 degrees or higher. We used coolers we had to keep things cold. The kitchen facet was almost falling off. The bare walls in the living area were littered with nails and picture hanging brackets where pictures and/or other art used to be. The two flimsy plastic home depot garbage cans in the front of the house were furnished with bungee cords to keep the critters out. This setup failed miserably so we were picking up garbage almost every day during our week long stay!! A final point, but one that speaks to the substandard amenities I am pointing out is the toilet paper that was furnished was the cheapest they could possible find and not as good as what is in most public bathrooms!!

Great place, but a little frustating

We loved the place, the location, and the view, but there were a few frustrations: -It was annoying having to walk like 100 feet to the hot tub, especially at night in the dark. -It was sad to look at the beautiful water and not be able to go near it. (There are fences and signs up everywhere saying to stay away) Othere than that, it was a great place.

Perfection!

Stayed for a very quick two night getaway. I have rented many homes and this home is everything I love in a vacation rental. Immaculate, comfortable and amazing views. I love to be able to get to a home and feel comfortable right away. The outdoor living space is spectacular. The bald eagles and the deer were amazing to watch. Marcie was so easy to deal with from the start. I Had a very small problem when we got there and she was available by phone immediately and we had it solved right away. I just wish I didn't live so far away so I could spend more time at this fabulous place!!
