Willkommen in unserem gemütlichen "Bootshaus" im schönen Truro. Das Hotel liegt an der National Seashore, wir sitzen am Pamet Harbour und haben einen privaten Pier, an dem Sie ein Boot binden können. Genießen Sie den Strand, das Kajak, das Kanu und das Lagerfeuer während Ihres Besuchs. Bewundern Sie die wunderschönen Sonnenuntergänge und Fischerboote, während Sie an Ihrem persönlichen Tisch am Wasser essen. Bring deine Kamera mit !!! Die Sonnenuntergänge sind spektakulär.

Unser 400 m² großes Haus war ursprünglich eine Segelschule! Es wurde in ein voll funktionsfähiges Haus umgewandelt und verfügt über alle Annehmlichkeiten, die Sie sich wünschen können. Genießen Sie Mahlzeiten mit Blick auf den Hafen, verbringen Sie Tage damit, den Fluss und die Buchten zu erkunden, am Strand zu faulenzen oder auf den Liegestühlen zu lesen. Und kein Strandhaus ist komplett ohne Außendusche! Das Haus schläft 4. Das Loft verfügt über 2 Doppelmatratzen, die nach Belieben angeordnet werden können. Der Reisebus verfügt über ein ausziehbares Schlafsofa. Geräte in voller Größe. Wi-Fi & Kabelfernsehen. Keine Wäsche.

Great place to stay

This lovely slice of heaven was exactly what we expected. After reading previous reviews I made sure to read the entire description of the property so my husband and I knew exactly what to expect (we brought linens, towels, flashlight). My only piece of feedback is that the walkway to the cottage is very dangerous- old broken pallets and not a lot of lighting for such a precarious walkway.

Perfect tranquil waterside cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing 4 night stay in this perfectly located cottage. The cottage was very clean inside and is very well equipped with everything you need, we took our own bedding. We cycled, kayaked and swam every day. The sunsets every evening are spectacular. The outside area around the cottage could do with a clean up.

Great Stay

We had a wonderful time staying at the tiny boat house. The great views of the harbor and sunsets were amazon. We spent mornings canoeing to little beaches in the harbor we had all to ourselves and afternoons catching crabs with the kids next to the dock. There is a ton to do within 10-15 minutes away. We hiked through the sand dune shacks, went to Truro vineyards and went to the lighthouse in the National seashore. The hosts were accommodating and promt answering our questions and helped make our young family enjoy our vacation.

Fun beach shack getaway to old cape cod

We enjoyed our stay. The listing says sleeps 4 so absolutely zero privacy. I would stay again but just with my wife. Also, the kitchen was a bit grimy and could use a deep cleaning. The charm is a great view of the harbor with amazing sunsets.

Beautiful location, lovely stay!

We loved our 4-day stay here over labor day weekend. The cottage has been redone since the photos were taken. Very comfy little beach house with deck and dock out the front door with a panoramic view that doesn't quit. The sunsets were stunning. Launch the canoe or kayak right in front of the house and paddle out to the beach on the peninsula just across the harbor from the house with a picnic for the day (we deemed that day a "perfect day", just perfect). Check-in/out was easy, as was the communication with the hosts. The classic teak furniture on the deck was perfect for dining al fresco. The chaise and the rocking chair were ideal for getting some sun and/or relaxing in the salty breeze. Bring your binoculars to enjoy the active life of the various sea birds, geese, and other birds that make the harbor their summer home. A very calming place. We will be back for sure!

Awesome location

Cottage was right on the water and had everything we needed minus the sheets/towels/shampoo. My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the end of October. Only thing is one of the entry sliders takes some extra effort to open and close.

Very quiet and lovely location. Cottage is nice. Loft is sooo very tight for sleeping and the pull out couch is as comfortable as most (not). Overall nice place. Wish the owners actually provided check in instructions....never had that happen before.

Glorious stay!! Best location…

The boathouse is absolutely adorable. The pictures online Do not do it justice as it has all been redone. We brought a lot of items that ended up not being necessary as every little thing you could need- pots, and pans, silverware dishes - is provided. The most remarkable part of this stay was the location hands-down. Not only does the boathouse sit directly on a private beach but it is in a lovely harbor and a quick canoe or kayak ride over to beaches. We definitely plan to return next year to this most amazing spot!!

Mouse dropping, ancient pull-out sofa, charge for sheets/towels, no bedroom, no wifi, no kayak, etc

Barb, the owner, has an excuse for everything but: there is no master bedroom or any bedroom as described. This is a studio with loft. Try as you might, you will not be able to sleep on the pull-out sofa bed that will be unmade when you arrive. It's that uncomfortable. (The mattresses--not beds--in the loft will also need to be made if you choose to use them. Note you will be hunched over under the low ceiling in the cramped area as you try to do so.) You, like we, may find mouse droppings. Hopefully she will have curtains installed for some privacy, otherwise you will be trying to sleep in that pull-out sofa about a foot away from a big picture window that anyone can peer through. She will charge you $$$ to wash flimsy, 100% polyester sheets if you use them (in addition to the $$$ cleaning fee). Bring your own body soap and shampoo because there won’t be any. Hopefully the TV and internet will work for you (they did not for us). And hopefully you’ll have access that we didn’t to the promised kayaks and canoe. We spent one night there then changed our flights to leave asap. Instead of three nights there, we spent one and, with VRBO fees and her charges and fees (with no discount whatsoever for such an unpleasant time without promised amenities), we spent $$$$$ for the experience. This has been my only (very) unpleasant experience with VRBO. Beware.

beautiful location, not for everyone

The location was amazing. Being right on the water allowed us to beat some of the heat and the sunsets were lovely. We did not receive check in and out instructions. Spoke with Barb once we got there and she was helpful, but we were too late getting the information and while we should have probably brought them just in case, we had no sheets. Had to pay $100 fee to use theirs. The fold out couch was broken, so one of us had to sleep on the couch. The spiral staircase to the loft is tricky and is not for anyone who might have limited mobility.

Cute and memorable place

The location is a lot of fun and being able to canoe over to the beaches was excellent. The kids loved the loft, the dock and exploring the shore. It was also fascinating watching the full moon high tide surround the entire cabin. It is definitely a memorable place. Our first disappointment, and I won’t hold this against them because apparently this was in the fine print that I over looked, was that this was the only rental we have dealt with that did not include linens. On our first night, we had to drive an hour to Target and buy sheets and towels for our stay. I wished that I was approached beforehand to confirm whether or not we desired the $100 linen service. Again, shame on me for not reading it but I feel like that should have popped up as an option for me to decline or perhaps an email or text – but my main point is that nobody else waste an evening shopping for pillowcases the way we did. The other disappointment was the pull-out sofa bed. We were unable to fold it out level as it should have. It seemed to have a bend or kink in it and it was unusable. Instead, my wife slept on the folded-up couch and I took the floor.

More storage would be nice. We both have bad backs so we had problems sleeping on the sofa bed, it was very uncomfortable. But we loved the house, location , sunsets and time with family!

Cool location on a quiet harbor. Tight fit for family of 4, but nicely renovated and quiet. No AC although photo on VRBO has one in the window. Overall, had a nice stay and would recommend it.

Perfect honeymoon getaway!

The location of this boathouse can’t be beat- waterfront access with easy boat access to nearby beaches. Beautiful sunsets and an easy drive to Provincetown! We loved it!

Perfect family getaway!

This was our 2nd annual stay at the Tiny boathouse. We love it! Our kids from the age if 14 to 2yrs old all had fun! Swimming, fishing, lots of adventures. Outside shower is a big hit too! Being able to walk across the bay when the tide is out creates a lot of adventures and creatures to find! Cant wait until next year!
