Here you will be able to relax and unwind enjoying our modern self catering studio, with en suite wetroom in gardens set alongside our 4 acre Cortijo Escondido (Hidden Farmhouse). This is a fabulous, well equipped new home for 2, which is suitable for adults only. You will be amazed at the peace and quiet - a simple, rarely found pleasure.

The lively market town of Orgiva is just 2km away. There you will find banks, shops, bars and restaurants as well as the local medical centre, doctors, dentists and pharmacies.The town has an interesting history with evidence of a settlement in Greek and Roman times. The local Spanish and quirky mix of foreign residents enjoy traditional fiestas throughout the year boasting excellent live music and dancing.

Exploring slightly further afield, but within an easy drive are the Sierra Nevada National Park, the charming white villages of the Poqueira Gorge popular with hikers and mountain bikers. Also close by are the spa town of Lanjaron (15 mins), the beaches of the CostaTropical (30 mins) and all the history, culture and shopping offered in the magnificent city of Granada (60 mins), including the Sierra Nevada Ski Resort (75 mins). To fully immerse yourselves in Andalucian history and culture try visiting The Alhambra. Touring its gardens and palaces will transport you to a time of great splendour and civilisation which to this day define this very special part of the world.

There is half an acre of classic garden much recently planted with fruit, flowering and conifer trees, rose and lavender bushes and mixed herbaceous flower beds. The whole property is a 4 acre small holding producing 300 litres of amazing cold pressed extra virgin, single estate, olive oil as well as citrus groves - all for us to share.

The importance of being environmentally conscious cannot be overstated, so we encourage our guests to help us in our quest to be eco-friendly. 300 long, sunny days each year help us to reduce our carbon footprint because we have solar panels as our renewable energy source, backed up by grid electricity for our few cloudy days. Our fertile land is irrigated by the ancient acequia water channels part of a vast 3000km network built throughout the Sierra Nevada between the 8th & 10th centuries by the Moors. Water is precious, we are very careful not to waste it in the home and we would ask you to do the same.
