The Space:
As you walk through the front door of this cozy mountain cottage, you’ll be greeted by a living room basked in natural light from vaulted windows. High ceilings open up the space as you sink into the over-sized couch big enough for six. The natural stone hearth that surrounds the fireplace and flat-screen TV nicely accents the home’s hardwood finishings. Nearby, the adjoining dining room makes for a perfect location for family meals. In the kitchen, stainless steel appliances pair with granite countertops and any equipment you could possibly need for a home cooked meal. If you are looking to experience a bit of nature with your dinner, no problem. Grill and dine on the back deck and take in your stunning surroundings.
The bedrooms are where mountain modern furnishings meet local art to tie together this home’s Tahoe theme. This cottage features three bedrooms. One downstairs and two upstairs. The downstairs bedroom is an over-sized suite with a king bed and its own porch access. The Bathroom features both a walk-in shower and a large tub with jets. Upstairs, Bedroom 1 features a king bed. Its bathroom has a walk-in shower. Bedroom 2 features a split king. Meaning it can be set as king or two twin beds. This room has a modest bathroom with tub/shower combination.
Cottages are complete with an in-unit washer and dryer, and a one car garage, making your stay simple, easy, and awesome.
Guest Access:
Guests can elevate their stay with optional access to Tahoe Mountain Club's curated collection of amenities. The TMC Pavilion is located just a two minute walk from The Cottages and offers pools, hot tubs, tennis/pickleball courts, a fitness center (with included classes), a restaurant, and a game room.
During the winter, guests can access Alpine Club and Schaffer's Camp, Tahoe Mountain Club's touch points at Northstar California Resort. Alpine Club features a ski valet which allows you to keep your gear at the mountain for the duration of your stay as well as a clubhouse-style restaurant perfect for aprés. Schaffer's Camp is TMC's private mountaintop restaurant featuring stunning views of the Sierra Crest and unparalleled cuisine.
Tahoe Mountain Club access is available through a $50/night resort fee paid upon check-in.
Additionally, guests staying at The Cottages are offered the lowest publicly available golf rates at Old Greenwood at Gray's Crossing.
The Neighborhood:
Known as one of the quietest parts of Truckee, the Old Greenwood neighborhood wraps around the 18 holes of its namesake golf course. Homes here are dwarfed by towering pines but bordered by expansive sections of lush, green golf course. Featuring quiet walking paths through the woods, spending time outdoors is part of living here.
Although secluded, Old Greenwood is centrally located and just minutes away from all the adventure you could wish for.
