Welcome to The Jaybird, our brand new cabin located in the serene Coosawattee River Resort, just minutes away from downtown Ellijay and award-winning wineries. Here, you'll find a quiet and peaceful retreat, offering everything you need to relax and unwind.

Whether you're planning a family getaway, a romantic escape, or a retreat with friends, The Jaybird is the perfect destination. Ellijay is bursting with charming shops and an abundance of restaurants, inviting you to explore and indulge in local delights. As our valued guest we've taken care of every detail to ensure your utmost enjoyment!

Step into The Jaybird and experience a harmonious blend of Appalachian warmth and mid-century modern design, creating a truly unique and inviting getaway. Our cabin comfortably accommodates up to four people, with one bedroom featuring a cozy king-size bed and ensuite bathroom, and the second bedroom offering a comfortable queen bed and adjacent bathroom. Each bathroom comes fully stocked with toiletries for your convenience. For families, we also provide two twin-sized air mattresses and a pack & play for our younger guests.

The living room is a cozy haven, complete with a 55-inch Smart TV and a selection of board games for entertainment. During cooler months, you can cozy up by the gas fireplace and enjoy its warm embrace. Stay connected with our reliable 300Mb Wi-Fi, available throughout the cabin and on the inviting front and back porches.

The fully stocked kitchen is a culinary haven, equipped with a full-size refrigerator, oven, microwave, electric kettle, and dishwasher. Coffee lovers will appreciate the variety of brewing options available, including a drip coffee maker, Chemex, and French press. We've even provided complimentary local whole beans and a grinder, so you can savor the delightful aroma of freshly brewed coffee.

Take a moment to unwind on the front porch chairs, where you can sip a glass of wine or savor your morning coffee. The back deck is the perfect spot for a delicious meal, complete with a BBQ grill and inviting swinging Adirondack chairs. Keep an eye out for the local wildlife, as deer frequently roam the area and can often be spotted from the front or back of the cabin.

As our esteemed guests, you'll have access to an array of resort amenities at the Coosawattee River Resort. Dive into the refreshing indoor or outdoor pools, explore the fishing ponds, enjoy the parks and playgrounds, challenge your companions to a game of tennis or basketball, indulge in some friendly competition with mini golf, or relax in the game room or fitness center. For an exhilarating adventure, take advantage of the river access, where you can rent tubes and enjoy a scenic float with convenient shuttles.

We've thoughtfully designed our cabin to provide you with all the comforts of home, ensuring that your stay at The Jaybird is truly exceptional.

Guests will have exclusive access to the entire property, ensuring privacy and a sense of home throughout their stay.

A few important reminders: We kindly request that parties be avoided, and noise be kept to a minimum after 10 PM to maintain the peaceful ambiance of the surroundings. Please be mindful that our property operates on a septic system, so we kindly ask that only toilet paper be flushed. For your safety, there is one exterior video camera positioned on the front corner of the house, facing the driveway. Rest assured that this camera only records video and sound when activated by motion and does not invade your privacy by looking into interior spaces.

During your visit, you may have delightful encounters with wildlife, including insects, deer, and other animals. To minimize insect presence, we recommend keeping exterior doors closed, even when bringing items in and out. Additionally, please refrain from leaving food outside or in your vehicle.
