The house owners (Joe and Chanelle) are seasoned vacation rental owners. With 8 years of owning and operating Mentone Vacation Rentals, they know exactly what their guests need to have an unforgettable vacation stay! They have earned their homes and businesses consistent 5-star reviews and many repeat guests over the years!

With a deep tie to their home state of Louisiana and a native of New Orleans, Chanelle paid tribute to her roots. The home is impeccably designed and decorated to reflect days gone by of grand living! It is reminiscent of a stately New Orleans home with beautiful furnishings and antiques from the French countryside and New Orleans. However, note that the home is super warm, cozy, and welcoming, and remember that having children visit the house is a priority!

You will be awed in every room! The kitchen features a luxurious copper sink, 6 burners with a griddle gas stove, double convection ovens, and a Bosch dishwasher! A second dishwasher and microwave, warming oven, and wine cooler are all featured in the catering kitchen. The family and breakfast rooms are all opened to the kitchen with views of the mountain and the pool.

Five fireplaces are featured. Two bedrooms are on the main level, and the cozy room is a backup storm shelter. Two bedrooms are on the second floor, which also hosts the library. The third floor is fabulous, with an entire living space including three queen beds, a family TV space, a bathroom, and a coffee and snack bar. All bedrooms, except the nursery, offer mini-fridges and coffee bars for convenience.

The rear patio has a gas grill, cozy seating around a wood-burning fireplace, and plenty of outside dining space. The saltwater pool is a dream. There are plenty of lounge chairs, seating, and dining options around the pool, all centered around a covered outdoor dining and meal space. The pool house has a full bath, changing area, and kitchen! It also hosts an art studio, which is a great place to try your creative skills! Plenty of parking on the side of the home! No parking in the front is allowed. The garage is not open for use.

A personal chef is available, along with home-cooked meals to be left in the refrigerator. Daily housekeeping services are available—all for additional fees. The nearest airport is in Chattanooga. Birmingham and Huntsville airports are an hour and a half away, and Atlanta airport is two hours away.

This home is still an active residence and is only offered for vacation opportunities when the family is traveling. A 3-night minimum is required, and no pets are allowed. A refundable damage deposit will be required.

No more than 14 adults and 2 children under the age of 12 are allowed. The nursery has a crib, and an infant or toddler in a crib is allowed. Once notified, Up to 3 children under two in a port-a-crib will be allowed.

The base nightly rate includes up to 8 guests. After the first 6 guests there is a $25 charge per person per night. This fee will be added after your reservation. A $59 damage waiver fee is also added.
