The southern end of Rockaway Beach, Oregon, features beautiful sandy beaches and ocean views. It is a peaceful area with lovely homes and plants. Visitors can walk on the beach, explore tidal pools, and enjoy sunsets over the Pacific Ocean. It's a great place to relax and appreciate Oregon's coastline.
Downstairs, you’ll find another cozy bedroom with a queen bed, a full bathroom, a futon for extra sleeping space, and a washer/dryer for your convenience.
The open-concept living area features a fully stocked kitchen, a large dining table for up to 10 people, and a cozy space for games or puzzles. The welcoming living room has a gas fireplace to keep you warm on chilly mornings or stormy evenings. You’ll love the large windows that frame stunning beach views from the living area!
Relax on the wrap-around deck, which offers beautiful views of Twin Rocks. It’s a great spot for barbecuing or watching the sunset over the ocean. Don’t forget to use the warm water rinse-off area on the back patio to clean up sandy children after a day at the beach. This cabin is the perfect getaway for a large family or 2-3 small families looking to make great memories together! Just step out the back door and take a short stroll through the coastal pines—only 50 steps until you are on the beach. With about 7 miles of beautiful shoreline to explore, you will have plenty of space for beachcombing!
We love having pets here, so please follow these guidelines to ensure everyone has a good time:
- Wipe their paws before coming inside.
- Make sure they’re flea-free.
- Take regular "potty" breaks to avoid accidents.
- Keep our furniture pet-free.
- Most importantly, enjoy your time with your pets everywhere—just don’t leave them unattended!
There is a bus that travels between Rockaway and Portland twice a day. Additionally, there is a tourist train that goes to Garibaldi, which is quite enjoyable. The town is located approximately three-quarters of a mile away, and the Pronto Pups is about three blocks from the house.
