Colorful Carova Beach Oasis. Pet friendly with a Pool! 5 minute walk to beach!

First year rental with Friday check in! The Salty Wife is a family friendly beach house located on the northern end of Carova Beach. The remote location provides the perfect setting to relax and unwind while enjoying all that nature has to offer. A leisurely 5 minute walk will take you to the ocean where shell treasures and wild ponies await you!
The home has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths and can comfortably sleep 6 people. The bedrooms include 1 king, 1 queen, and 1 full size bed. The primary bedroom has a private bathroom while the queen and full bedroom share a Jack and Jill bathroom. There is also a half bathroom upstairs in the main living area. Bath towels and bed linens are included. There are smart tv’s in the king and queen bedrooms. Smart tv’s are also found in the den and the basement movie room. Internet is provided but guests will need to supply their own streaming services. The outdoor space includes a small pool, picnic table, fire pit, charcoal grill, and outdoor shower. Pool towels and beach chairs are provided! You will also find the kitchen stocked with one roll of paper towels, 2 trash bags, two dishwasher pods, kitchen sponge, dish soap, hand soap, and salt and pepper. Bathrooms have one hand towel, hand soap, and two roll of toilet paper. Please bring your own hygiene products. Shampoo and body wash not provided.
Things to consider:
Please note that there are no paved roads in Carova and a 4 wheel drive vehicle is required to travel on the beach. Tires must be aired down to 15-20 psi to avoid getting stuck in soft sand. If you are new to beach driving, it is helpful to review the daily tide chart and travel the beach during low tides.
The Salty Wife is a classic three story beach house. The kitchen is on the top level. While it is excellent exercise, it can be challenging carrying a full cooler or car full of groceries up the stairs.
The water in Carova has a heavy mineral content. The house has a water filtration system, and the water is perfectly safe to drink, but we prefer to bring our own water from home. We use the tap water for bathing and brushing teeth with no complaints.
In conclusion, if your vacation goal is to slow down, escape the 9-5, and focus on quality time with the people who matter most; you have found the perfect place!
