The master bedroom features a comfortable queen size bed with luxury linens. There is ample closet and dresser space that accommodates even those with a love for packing a large variety of wardrobe choices.
The second bedroom is situated off of the master bedroom, or has its own private entrance off of the wrap around deck. Wake up and open the blinds to a view of the lush garden and fruit trees surrounding the property.
The third bedroom features a full size Murphy bed, and a large designated work station. The room makes the perfect place to hide away and read or take care of business at the ensuite desk. A spacious closet so you can unpack while maintaining a tidy and welcoming space. Unique components of this room include an expansive view of the Leucadia coastal neighborhood.
Situated off of the hall is the bathroom which features more of The Craftsman’s signature woodwork. Fully equipped with all the toiletries you need during your stay.

The dining table seats six and is the perfect place to share a meal after a long day at the beach.
Although the timeless design inside of The Craftsman is nothing short of spectacular, it’s safe to say that the wrap around deck provides an equally compelling experience. The private deck, which wraps around 3/4ths of the home, provides an idyllic setting for sipping your favorite beverage or sharing unforgettable moments with loved ones. The Craftsman is more than a stay; it's an immersive experience in the artistry of nature.
The Craftsman is located on the second floor. It shares an entryway with the owners private entrance on the first floor. Your private entrance is up the stairs on your right once you enter into the entryway.
While you enjoy the full and private run of the entire 3-bedroom home, it's worth noting that the laundry facilities are shared and will need to be coordinated with the owner who lives below and the other rental on the property. The laundry facilities are placed away from the privacy of The Craftsman, thoughtfully designed to guarantee your relaxation and privacy remain undisturbed.

Just a heads-up: When you check in, we'll put a $500 hold on your credit card that you used to book your stay. This hold will be released within 72 hours after you check out, provided everything's in good shape.

Pet Policy and Approval Process: While we adore pets, their presence on the property is not permitted without approval and an additional pet fee following the completion of your reservation.
Kitchen Care: Please look after the counter tops by using coasters and trivets, ultimately we just would like you to treat out home as your own and protect the tables and counter tops.
Smoke-Free Environment: We maintain a strict no-smoking policy on the premises. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping The Pelican smoke-free.
No Parties or Unauthorized Guests: Parties and unauthorized guests are not allowed to ensure the tranquility of our community.
Community Consideration and Quiet Hours: As part of the closely-knit Cardiff community, we kindly request that The Pelican be reserved for smaller gatherings. Large groups or parties may not align with the respectful and harmonious atmosphere we aim to maintain for our neighbors. Please note that quiet hours are observed between 10 pm and 10 am.
Safety Device Notification: If you notice any issues with the smoke or carbon monoxide detectors, please notify us immediately.
Property Safety and Security: Before setting out on adventures beyond the property, ensure the kitchen door and laundry room lock are engaged. Additionally, lock all windows. It's crucial to leave the interior door knob below the deadbolt unlocked to prevent accidental lockouts. When outside, press the lock button on the keypad to secure the door.
Fire Safety Reminder: For your safety, please refrain from leaving plug-in heaters on when you're not on the premises, as they pose a significant fire hazard.
Energy Conservation: To help conserve energy, kindly turn off all lights and the AC when you're not on the premises.
