Not easy for the elderly.
The porch was high and was hard for me to step up on it, much less for my husband that uses the walker. He did fall trying to get off of the porch. No steps were there with handrails. No instructions inside to list any emergencies or who to call with concerns. The rooms were clean and nice, but no trash bags or dishwashing soap, so went to store to get those basic needs. I finally had to get my daughter to come here, so that she could help get off and on porch. There was a nice neighbor across the way that came by and made a makeshift steps, so that was a big help. A big thank you to nice people. I would have gone to the motel if that didn't happen. Internet went out on last day, so unable to watch TV. Didn't have access to Netflix. Grass outside was very tall and needed to be mowed. Again, bed was nice, liked that there was washer/dryer, and AC worked well. The place was modern and quaint, just needs some added touches to be accessible to everyone, not just for the young.
