169 Ocean Street Marshfield Mass. Perfekte 180-Grad-Blick aufs Meer von Brant Rock "High Road". Sunrise Bild wurde aus dem oberen Schlafzimmer genommen und ist typica !. Haus ist weitgehend unverändert geblieben, da vor über 100 Jahren gebaut. Haus hat drei Schlafzimmer, alle mit Meerblick. Drei können in jedem der identischen Meerseite Zimmer schlafen - in Doppelbett und im Fenster Doppelbett gebaut. Drittes Schlafzimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten Platz für Kinderbett (im Lieferumfang enthalten). Wintergarten mit Tagesbett kann als Schlafzimmer auf Wunsch verwendet werden. Großen Hinterhof und Deck perfekt für Unterhaltung. Parkplatz für sechs Autos auf dem Grundstück, die von entscheidender Bedeutung in diesem Park schlechte Lage ist. Gas-Kamin, Morgen Treppe, Esszimmer groß genug für zehn. Gas-Wärme-Gasherd. Cottage verfügt über WLAN, Kabel-TV, Spülmaschine, Waschmaschine / Trockner, Bettwäsche, alles inklusive. Einrichtungsgegenstände ausgewählt, um Haus entsprechen. Lagerung in Schränken und in sehr großen Diakonsessel Betten mit Pull-Open-Access-Türen. Die Straße:
Ocean Street ist berühmt für unveränderte viktorianischen Ära Strand Häuser. Genießen Sie einen eindrucksvollen Blick auf Massachusetts Bay von der expansiven Rundum-Veranda. Gezeiten-Pools und Sandstrand über die Straße von zu Hause aus bei Ebbe. Genannt der "high road" für seine eindrucksvolle Aussicht und Schutz vor Stürmen, endet diese Straße tote ein paar Blocks nach unten und wird vor allem von Kinderwagen und Jogger verwendet.

Eine Minute zu Fuß zum Stadtstrand, vier Restaurants und Full-Service-Lebensmittelgeschäft in der Brant Rock "Esplanade". Das berühmte Fairview Inn ist vier Türen im Süden für die feine Küche und Meerblick. Lassen Sie Ihr Auto im Leerlauf - zu Fuß erkunden.

Nicht Sommermonate: Wir haben einen ermäßigten tägliche, wöchentliche und monatliche Rate für den Winter mit einem dreitägigen Mindestaufenthalt. Start ist komplett winterfest gemacht und über Hochwasserlinie. Dramatische Ansichten immer und aufregend, aber sicher zu Winterstürmen beobachten. Eine viel bessere Alternative als Hotels für Thanksgiving oder Weihnachten besucht. Support ist 24/7 von meiner Familienmitglieder, die in der Gegend leben.

Cozy and Comfortable

Thank you, Patrick for a wonderful stay in Marshfield. The house was easy to find, had a beautiful view and was well stocked with kitchen supplies and more than enough bathroom linens. Due to staying in February, the weather was not nice enough to walk around and explore; however, if you do stay in warmer weather, there are several places to visit. Enjoy!

Very relaxing stay on the ocean

Fall trip

This property was right on the ocean there was a market within walking distance several restaurants and a couple of quiet bars there was a family of seals that kept us entertained the whole weekend also!!!! We had a blast we have traveled all over and we like going to different spots this was actually the first time my wife said she would like to come back to the same spot

Great location for vacation

The view from the front porch is wonderful in both the morning and evening. There are great sunrises and sunsets over the ocean, there are seals in the water to watch. There is a sandy beach within walking distance. And 3 beaches within a short drive. There is a choice of restaurants within walking distance to satisfy different choices. A local market and stores to shop in. A wonderful ice cream shop open all day and even8ng.

Wonderful ocean experience

My wife and I rented Patrick's house for a month to give my California-born wife a sense of a South Shore winter as we consider a potential move to the area. The house itself is wonderful - it's well maintained and exudes New England charm as it was built in 1910. The house is fully functional, comfortable, and pleasure to stay in. The house is a rock-solid testament to the quality of materials and carpentry that were typical of the early 20th century. During the two nor'easters that hit during our stay, the house didn't even twitch with wind gusts hitting 60mph. You cannot help but connect to the ocean, which is right across Ocean St. from the house and showed all aspects of its personality from a calm blue mill pond, to an unending train of large grey waves driven by the winds of the nor'easter. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves breaking on the rocks was magical. There is a lot to do around the neighborhood, even in the middle of winter - good local restaurants and markets. Marshfield and the towns surrounding it have a large assortment of restaurants, bars, and shops of all kinds, many of which pay homage to the rich history of the area. Patrick and his cousin Kirk were very responsive and helpful whenever we had a question. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a New England seaside vacation home.

Great long weekend

We really enjoyed our long weekend in this special house. It’s much more unique than staying in a local hotel and the view was spectacular. It fit our family of five well and had everything we needed. Communication with the host was excellent too. The house is right down the street from several restaurants and a small grocery store. Despite it being the off season, several places were open. The location was close to other nice towns and less than an hour from the Boston. I would recommend walking along Brant Rock Beach and listening to the waves flowing in and out along the pebbles. That was lovely. Thank you again for accommodating a later check out time for us and owning such a special place on the water.

Getting ready for the wedding!

I got married over Labor Day weekend and my wedding party stayed here with me the night before the wedding… and then my husband and I stayed for a few nights after the wedding! it was the perfect location to wake up and walk the beach before all the wedding festivities. The views from every room in the house were gorgeous. Lots of parking. Easy to walk across the street for some wedding photos! The house is old but charming. Very comfortable. Nice sitting space. Thankfully we had one of the only nice weekends of the summer… no rain or humidity. The only disappointment was that the owner had told me there would be air conditioners in the bedrooms which wasn’t actually the case. He had assured me the sea breeze would keep things cool, but I was a bit worried that it could be hot getting hair and makeup done for wedding. But, thankfully we had no humidity that weekend and didn’t need them after all. I would recommend this house for a lovely, casual beachfront getaway!

Great location, beautiful setting

This was a great place for my extended family to get together and relax. The view from the porch is amazing: water, sky, rocks, birds, and lots of seals. The binoculars were in constant use! We spent several days at Green Harbor beach, tried out many local restaurants, did all the jigsaw puzzles in the house, took a hike at the Mass Audubon Sanctuary, visited the Marshfield Hills General Store (owned by Steve Carrell), and a few of us visited the cape for one day (within easy reach). The house is comfortable and has most of the basic necessities. The house could use a bit of a facelift due to its age and exposure to the elements. This is not a luxury vacation house but it was a great place to gather as a family. And you really can’t beat the setting. We really enjoyed our stay.

Victorian Beach house

It was a great vacation. Sitting on the front porch with the sun rising and on the rear deck for sunsets are very relaxing. The house is inviting and cozy. The beach is close, as well as great restaurants. The ice cream shop has a great selection of ice cream treats. The staff at Salt and Water, make sure you go home with shirts, t shirts and other beach memories. The Brant Rock market will meet your shopping needs.

We love the location and the charm of this cottage! The front porch is a great spot to seal, boat and people watch! Beautiful garden. One of the best things are the window seats in the front bedrooms. Can't wait to go back!

The porch is the selling point

Another excellent stay here. Although it rained occasionally we were still able to view the ocean from the covered porch. This town is a real gem. The house is close to shopping and eating. Already looking forward to next year.

This was a perfect location and space for us while visiting the area and extended family!

Charming home, fantastic view!

We had such a wonderful, relaxing stay with family. The home has plenty of space and everything needed for a comfortable stay, including stocked kitchen, linens, and paper products. The view on the porch is breathtaking, especially at sunrise. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly, and I enjoyed walking my dog along Ocean Street each day. Thank you Patrick!! We hope to return!

Massachusetts native born and raised in Brockton. Used to come here constantly in summers. Loved it. Teaching in Vancouver BC now but plan to retire into this home eventually. In the meantime its my pleasure to make this home available to my family and a few select folks who may become family too!

This property was selected after years looking. Its above the flood line so has avoided damage for 100 years. Has a classic victorian summer cottage three sided veranda which sold me. It needed work and will require tinkering forever but thats its charm too. A huge number of people can gather to chat and dine either inside, or under the sky, or under the porch roof. Huge back yard makes parking a breeze and that ends up being more important than you think.
