Hoot Owl cabin is approximately 1,500 sqft with an open floorplan. The cabin is located in a residential neighborhood with about 50/50 full time and vacation rentals. The cabins are close together since the area is so close to downtown. The 1st level host the kitchen, living/dining, full bath with tub/shower combo and bedroom with a King size bed.

The 2nd level includes the loft area with a sofa sleeper and bedroom with a Queen size bed. Second full bathroom is located on this level with a tub/shower combo.

The kitchen is open to the living room and loft area. It is equipped with a Keurig, full size coffee pot, dishwasher, refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, blender, and toaster. Kitchen items include cups, dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and salt/pepper/sugar/tea/coffee (you may want to bring your own K-cups).

The cabin has high-speed internet provided by Spectrum. The living room has a smart TV and both bedrooms have smart TVs. You can sign into your, Hulu, Netflix, Prime, YouTube accounts, etc. No cable. WIFI password is located in the cabin on the bookcase.

There is a gas fireplace in the living room with timer controls for easy use.

Check out the loft bookcase which contains board games, puzzles and books about the local area.

Connected to the kitchen is a closet with full-size washer/dryer, broom, dust pan and laundry detergent.

The first floor bedroom closet has an ironing board, iron, sleeping fans, extra blankets, luggage rack and wooden hangers for your use.

The charcoal grill is located on the covered deck by the hot tub. You will need to bring your own charcoal.

The hot tub is simple to use and has several different jet settings along with temperature controls and lights. Outdoor towels and blankets are provided and are located by the door accessing the hot tub and deck area.

Located in a forested area approx. 1 mile from downtown Maggie Valley, experience shopping, dining, putt putt golf, ice cream shops, breweries & more. Enjoy sitting by the outdoor firepit or soaking in the hot tub after a long day exploring all that the Smoky Mountains have to offer.

Cell service is spotty in the mountains so you may try using your phone setting for WIFI calling while at the cabin.

Directions for local trash removal will be provided if you want to remove any trash during your stay.

Guest Safety - there is a fire extinguisher located under the kitchen sink for emergency use. A small first-aid kit is located in the downstairs bathroom in the bottom drawer. The Maggie Valley Fire Department and EMS is located about a 1/2 mile from the cabin. Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm until 8:00 am daily.

There are no grocery stores located in Maggie Valley (one Dollar General about 1.5 miles from the cabin). You may want to pick up groceries before heading into Maggie Valley. Waynesville has a Publix, Ingles and Walmart.

Please be mindful that the cabin is located in a wooded area close to town and other cabins within close proximity. There can be poison ivy/oak/sumac, snakes, bears, stumps, rocks, uneven ground, and other things that come with being in nature.
