The General Sherman Cabin

Welcome to the General Sherman Cabin at the Sequoia Motel! Nestled near the breathtaking beauty of Sequoia National Park, our cabin offers more than just a place to rest your head—they provide a sanctuary for adventurers like you. The General Sherman is a 2-bedroom haven, fully stocked with comfortable memory foam mattresses, ensuring a restful night's sleep for up to 4 guests.

Step inside to discover a spacious kitchen equipped with full-size appliances and all the essentials for whipping up a delicious meal. After a day of exploration, unwind with entertainment options like games, WiFi, and streaming channels such as Netflix and Disney+. Outside, a welcoming deck overlooks the lush grassy area, perfect for relaxing or playtime with your furry companion.

Conveniently located just a short, scenic 4-mile drive from the entrance of Sequoia National Park, our cabins offer both convenience and tranquility. As a guest of the Sequoia Motel, you'll also have access to a host of amenities, including a revitalizing pool, inviting fire pit, charming gazebo, yard games, and picnic tables. It's the perfect setting to relax, connect with nature, and swap stories with fellow travelers.

Guest Access:

Guests have access to the entire room, WiFi, fresh towels and linens, Smart TV, and flat parking space. Motel amenities are first come first serve (fire pit).

Pool: Available Seasonally - Open from June to August, daily from 10 AM to 10 PM.
Pool is not heated. Important! No lifeguard on duty. The pool is 6ft deep. Watch children at ALL times.

Things to Note:

There are 9 rooms at the motel available to book in addition to the cabins. If you would like to book more rooms, let us know!

Please note that there is no on-site office or staff, but don’t worry—we manage everything remotely to make sure your experience is smooth and comfortable. If you need anything at all, just reach out, and someone from our team will be available to assist you as soon as possible.

Our office hours are from 8 am-9 pm. You can reach us by messaging through the app or calling/texting the Customer Service phone number provided in your check-in instructions. Rules:
1. Check in after 4 pm. Check out by 11 am. Our office hours are between 8 am - 9 pm, please communicate between those hours!
2. Add all guests to the reservation. Maximum Occupancy is 4 total adults plus one child. If someone is planning to sleep on the futon, please bring a sleeping bag. Pets are allowed. ALL animals require a one-time pet fee.
3. No parties! No smoking of any kind inside the room. Removal of smoke detectors is illegal. If you choose to smoke outside, dispose of your butts appropriately. Absolutely no parties or large, loud gatherings. Loud music, excessive rowdiness, excessive drinking or smoking, etc. will result in a $1,000 party fine. Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 7 am.
4. Be respectful! When using outdoor areas (Pool, fire pit, yard games, etc.) please clean up after yourself so the next guest can enjoy it as well. If something is wrong, low, or out, please let us know so we can fix it. Never leave trash outside, it attracts birds, bears, and other animals that make a mess.
