Cabin for 2 Persons – Your Hotel-ly Different Holiday

Jamaica unplugged! The owner, reggae musician Jamaica Papa Curvin, has lived in Germany for 40 years and a few years ago he discovered his favourite property on the island. Now he lives in Jamaica and is looking forward to hosting guests with a genuine interest in his home country.

The cottage was build in 2011 in the traditional Jamaican style. It is located on a vast property with stunning sea views and tropical garden, just above a rocky cliff.
Our traditional style cottage is fully furnished and has the following features:

- Large living/sleeping room for 2 persons (additional 3rd bed on request)
- Single or double bed with mosquito nets
- Built-in wardrobes/cupboards,
- a fan
- Kitchenette with a 4-burner gas stove, fridge, coffee maker, toaster...
- bathroom with WC, shower(cold and solar heated hot water) and
washbasin
- verandah

A typical Jamaican breakfast or dinner can be served on request.

From the star deck in front of the yard , you will enjoy the beautiful view of the sea, or discover exotic birds and butterflies in the lush vegetation. In the evenings you can watch the light of fireflies. Relax and listen to the waves.

If you want to, you can fish directly on the property or get refreshed by jumping from the cliffs into the sea, if the sea conditions allow.

The whole year you can enjoy stunning sun rises and sunsets from here.

Vacation off the beaten track:

How about a trip to a beautiful waterfall not far from the property? Enjoy the beautiful location to swim or jump from the cliffs right into the water.

As a Curvin´s guest you will find it very easy to get into conversations with the people from the neighborhood. We can also organize individual Real Jamaica tours that will lead you to the unknown treasures of the island. This location offers you everything for a perfect vacation far away from tourist crowds. Here you will get in touch with the locals and discover the real Jamaica!

From the cliffs you may also dive into the sea whenever the sea conditions allows it (but you have to be a very good swimmer). Swimming shoes are recommended when climbing the cliffs.
