*As most everyone knows, our area was hit hard with Hurricane Helene and has left so much devastation. While the downtown area of Asheville remains intact physically, we are still struggling with the return of potable water. The city is working hard to restore but a timeline for full restoration is uncertain. While they say everything except consumption of water is okay, the water appears darker from iron sediment and not appealing. Of course we are supplying water for consumption and have a shower filter but we want this to be contemplated before coming to Asheville. The city needs the vital support from tourism but also the space in areas that are rebuilding. Hard to navigate these times but hopeful it’s getting better day by day. Always.exploreasheville is a great website with area information.
Also please only book if you are willing to switch to one of our other apartments in the same building..check them all out under my profile. We are on a list to house people who have lost housing in the storm and a list for volunteers in the area who may need to extend stay. We will be giving 10 percent of bookings to Beloved Asheville organization and River Arts District Relief Fund until at least the end of the year.
Thank you for supporting local! Asheville needs you!*
