Nestled on a large, private .5 acre lot in Eastham w/access to 2 fresh water ponds, w/in biking distance to beaches -First Encounter (1 mi) & National Seashore. The perfect location to enjoy the peacefulness and beauty of Outer Cape but just a hop away from Chatham & Orleans or Provincetown for a ferry ride to Martha's Vineyard or Whale watching! Outdoor eating, grill, relaxing patio & fire pit! Right on the Rail Trail with some bikes provided. Bedding & linens-free, a/c (for summer), new bathrooms & updated kitchen!

The space:
-4 bedrooms, 2 full beds, 2 twin beds, a trundle that can be 2 twins or a king.

-cozy and comfortable living room with TV, additional game room with books for kids and adults, board games and card games, chess table, magnet blocks and foam for younger children
-Furnished deck with grill, very large back yard that is private and includes a fire pit area- marshmallow roasting sticks supplied in kitchen!

Bedrooms and Bathrooms:
Your group will enjoy the cozy, cottage bedrooms in our sweet home that have been thoughtfully decorated for your seaside vacation. There are four bedrooms each with their own nautical charms.

Bedroom 1 (First floor): The bedroom on the first floor features an incredibly comfortable Puffy mattress- if you haven't slept on one previously, you are in for a treat! Overlooking the freshwater pond, wake up to the glistening sun shining on the water that you can see from your bed or close the black out curtains and sleep in!

Bathroom 1 (First floor):
Enormous first floor full bathroom with walk in shower! Equipped with a steamer for your packed clothes, hairdryer, first aide kit, shampoo, conditioner and body wash, in addition to wash clothes for your make up! Fluffy, white hotel towels are waiting to dry you off! Beautifully redecorated with cottage charm.

Bedroom 2 (Second floor):
The second bedroom is perfect for someone who wants to enjoy their time on the Cape but who may also need to send a few emails. Very spacious with a full Puffy mattress, and a small desk with paper and pen, enjoy your view from the backyard while you work and tons of space to spread out.

Bedroom 3 (Second floor):
The third bedroom is perfect for the teens in your life. Two comfy twin beds with adorable reading lights and space enough in the closet for two suitcases.

Bedroom 4 (Second floor):
The fourth bedroom can fit two people, two ways! The trundle bed can be set up as two single twins or they can be pushed together to form a king bed when put side by side.

Bathroom 2 (Second floor):
Equipped with towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash here you will also find the beautiful and fluffy beach towels we have provided for your stay! A full bath with a shower and bathtub relax in this newly updated bathroom at the end of a long day of adventure at the beach!

Kitchen
The full kitchen is the perfect place to bake cookies, have a smoothie or whip up a mixed drink in the blender, cook some lobster in our large lobster pot all while still being near family and friends in the living room. With a coffee bar (and tea) available to you, wake up to pond views with a steaming cup of coffee. Spices, cooking utensils, and basic condiments available.

If you don't feel like cooking while on vacation- don't worry you are near some of the best dining on the Cape. Not only can you enjoy all of the dining that Eastham has to offer, you are also in very close proximity to the delicious local restaurants and eateries in both Wellfleet and Orleans!

Living room:
The living room is sunny and bright with large comfy couches for your entire family and water views! The house TV is set up here and you may utilize all smart TV features and streaming apps while you stay with us. Play a game of Candy Land, Monopoly, or a variety of card games available to you or cozy up with a good book from the collection on the shelves varying in fiction, nonfiction, adult and children from 2-teen. Eastham library also provides a great book sale every day of the week if you can't find something that interests you! The living room is one of our family's favorite spots to gather together at Samoset Cottage!

Dining Room:
The dining room is set for 6 but can be expanded with leaves and additional chairs to accommodate 8 guests. Overlooking the backyard with new double windows it is a great place for enjoying a lobster dinner with your crew!

Outdoor area:
The patio is set up with a large outdoor furniture set ready for your entire group! A brand new propane grill for any items you would like to cook while enjoying the large back yard.

Our huge picnic table is set up beneath a large shade tree and can seat 8 to enjoy a beautiful meal.

Extend your evening to the fire pit and make yourself a s'more- marshmallow roasting sticks can be found in the kitchen.

The back yard is large, sitting on a half acre and though it is tree lined and private, it is not fenced in. Please note if you have small children that you need to be mindful of the proximity to water.

Guest access:
Guests have private access to the entire home and private free parking in the very long driveway.

For safety and security, the house is set up with a ring doorbell. The camera is forward facing and recording 24/7 with no additional cameras on the premises.
