If you've a choice, do not go with Vacasa if you want peace of mind
With most vacation rentals, what you'd like is good support a bit before and after your stay. Vacasa support abounds in mis-information, and lack of accountability.
Went to Florida, booked a relatively expensive place on the beach @ Miramar /Destin.
Had issues getting information about amenities confirmed before my stay, causing me to prepare more than I should have to, for a vacation that was a home rental.
After reaching, we requested a cleaning support, since the place was not clean to the point of it being a safety hazard. Not only we waited the entire 1st day for it , but the support never arrive, though I constantly got assured "we are working on it" from different agents on text/app.
Finally, after a 16 hour wait, I shelled out more cost at my end to get an emergency local cleaning team do the work. Meanwhile, kitchen was unusable for all of this time, and we ate all our meals out, and wore socks in the house. Older people in the family were advised to stay put than move around.
Support did not even reach out during the rest of our 3 night stay to confirm if issues had been resolved.
So, I lost 1 day and spent a ton of more cost during a pre-paid vacation that was already expensive.
At best, I'd think this is a hit or a miss. Assured memorable times - bad or good depends on your luck!
ps: I've yet to see any contact from Vacasa.
