The 2 BR cedar-lined cabin sits above a private hollow, overlooking the Historic Blackjack Dam.
Surrounded by nature, you will find true serenity after a day of hiking and shopping in Hocking Hills.
Soak in the hottub or take the grand staircase down into the hollow, to explore the property's rock outcroppings and a shallow creek.
Minutes away from hiking, rappelling, coffee, restaurants and shopping.
A dream for any nature enthusiast, but due to topography, not recommended for young kids.
The Cabin at Blackjack Hollow is a true hidden gem, with a gorge, creek and a dam on the property.
Historic Blackjack Dam is no longer in commission, but can be viewed from the hollow as well as the backyard above.
Some old dam equipment is still on site, now accompanied with a bench to sit and take it all in.
Bring your own firewood for the firepit, or buy some at the many driveways nearby that use an honor system.
Inside, the cabin features 2 bedrooms with plush King-size beds, one of them with a desk, the other with a half bath. One of these rooms is down a flight of stairs and doesn't have a door, think "loft" but downstairs...
The large, open living room has a 55" smart TV, a coffee table with a lift top for working or enjoying a meal on the couch, and a comfy futon should you need it for additional guests. Plenty of spare sheets and towels are found in the main bedroom.
In the fully equipped kitchen you'll find all the necessities, including basic seasonings, pots, pans, and even a crockpot so your dinner will be ready when you return from your hike.
Some coffee, coffee filters, and non dairy creamer are provided, but feel free to bring your own ground coffee or K-cups if you have a favorite.
A dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, and even boot/glove dryer are provided for your convenience.
We stock dish soap and Tide Pods once per month, also found in the closet of the upstairs bedroom.
If there are any must- have items among the complimentary things we offer, please do bring them for your stay. We only stock these items once per month and we don't want to disappoint, in the event we run out of something before your stay.
