Diese geräumige Wohnung hat einen wunderschönen Blick auf das Meer und den Sumpf aus jedem Fenster. Jedes Zimmer wurde renoviert. Es gibt ein großes neues Bad, eine neue Küche und Teppichböden. Die großen Schlafzimmer haben einen herrlichen Meerblick. Sie betreten von einer Terrasse mit Blick auf den ruhigen Sumpf. Das Familienzimmer mündet direkt in die helle Wohnküche mit allen Annehmlichkeiten wie zu Hause (Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine und Toaster). Es gibt einen Flachbildfernseher, WiFi, DVD-Player und ein Schlafsofa für zusätzliche Gäste (Apartment für 6 Personen sehr bequem). Das erste Schlafzimmer hat ein Queen-Size-Bett und das zweite ein Full-Size-Bett. Es gibt viel Platz für ein Kinderbett oder ein tragbares Kinderbett für ein kleines Kind. Es ist nur wenige Schritte vom Meer entfernt und über einen öffentlichen Weg (Nr. 2) direkt über die Straße zu erreichen. Dies ist eine Einheit im zweiten Stock in einem Haus mit zwei Einheiten. Es besteht die Möglichkeit für Großfamilien oder Mehrfamilienhäuser, die gemeinsam Urlaub machen möchten, sowohl den ersten als auch den zweiten Stock gleichzeitig zu mieten. Perfect beach location

Great stay! Loved have the beach right across the road. Could see the beach out the front and the marsh out the back. Parking is tight, but follow the instructions and you will be fine. Owner was very helpful and communicative!

Loved our stay in Wells!

David and his wife, Rebecca, went out of their way to make sure we were totally at home. We so enjoyed our time in Wells. Their cute place is perfect - across from the beach, so clean, bed is very comfy, and the space is exactly what we were hoping for. I would definitely come stay again!

Slice of heaven

The space was perfect for my husband and I, w/ 2 queen beds and a king pull out couch, this space could certainly accommodate more, but we loved the space. Kitchen was fully stocked which we were grateful for. Nothing like falling asleep to the crash of the waves or watch the sunset on the marsh side. Absolutely loved this space and will be back! So close to the beach, short walk down to the gift shops, we couldn’t ask for more. Do make sure you bring your own linens!

Marathon stay

We stayed for the Wells marathon and it was an ideal location, within walking distance of the start line. The property was as described and the kids loved being across the road from the beach. We didn’t have much time to explore the surrounding area, but it would make a good base for exploring this part of the Maine coast. The host was also very helpful in responding to all of my questions.

We had such a great stay. We had friends in the downstairs and we were upstairs. As advertised close to everything and seconds from the ocean. The wagon needs a little work the tire is coming off from so much use but it was an unexpected happy bonus to have toys and a wagon to use!!

Location is amazing! You cross the road and you are on the beach! The property itself is nice and has everything you’d need and expect in a vacation rental. It was very clean and well presented. My only complaint is the beds are really hard and uncomfortable and it made for a tough nights sleep. Otherwise the place was great and we would definitely come back!

Love this house

We love the location of this house. We stayed downstairs last year and upstairs this year. We like both apartments but slightly prefer the upstairs for the layout and views (but do really like the sunroom downstairs). It’s so nice to be able to walk across the street to the beach. Kitchen is well stocked with plates, etc. Appliances work. It’s great having laundry available, especially when you have lots of wet beach stuff to dry before going home. And the beach toys, chairs, and boogie boards in the basement are a nice bonus. We’ll for sure be back again.

Everything we needed, even in winter.

We had a couple days to kill between a personal and business commitment and thought it would be fun to be on the ocean. We assumed any rental we found would be a little cold and drafty but hardy Mainers that we are, we went ahead. We weren’t expecting gale force winds, snow and sleet but that’s what we got. In spite of all that, this rental was warm and cozy. Also clean and well appointed. We had everything we needed to cook and hunker down. David reached out a couple of times to be sure we were well and that was greatly appreciated. The rental is directly across from a public beach access. Bedrooms grant partial ocean view and the opportunity to fall asleep to the roar of the surf.

Girls Weekend

Amazing time! Awesome location! Was three generations. My mom, me, and my 5 year old daughter. We lucked out with some beautiful weather so we took that quick walk over to the beach a few times. My daughter played in the edge of the water and collected sea shells. We even sat on the back deck and had a glass of wine. The views from the windows were beautiful and you could hear the ocean even with the windows closed. Thank you for opening up your home for us to enjoy. We were talking about making this a yearly trip! Nobody wanted to leave! I practically had to pull me daughter out of there! Our time went too quick! We took lots of pictures and made great memories.

Charming oceanside retreat

I stayed for 4 nights in October in the top floor unit of this gorgeous house in Wells, Maine. It is just steps away from the beach but also close to lots of great restaurants and shops. The unit was clean and tastefully decorated. I will definitely be planning a return visit soon.

Vacances à la maison jaune

Propriété très très propre et bien équipée. Dans les chambres, belle vue sur la mer et surtout, bien agréable d’entendre les vagues se casser sur la plage. En plus, vous trouverez au sous-sol: parasols, chaises de plage, planches de surf, seaux et pelles pour les enfants. C’est la deuxième fois que nous louons cette maison et c’est assuré que nous y retournerons.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

My family and I have vacationed in Wells Beach for countless summers. We rented over a dozen different properties. All the properties we rented required us to pack all our beach gear in the car, fight the traffic and cross our fingers we would find a parking spot. If we could find a spot, it was often the typical $10/day. Then we would load all of 'beach gear' on our shoulders and make the walk to the beach. At times it was frustrating. Bathroom breaks were always an adventure. When we decided to purchase a home in Wells, we wanted to be right by the ocean. 80 Atlantic was perfect. It had a crosswalk at the end of the driveway for the kids and direct access to Public Way # 2. (No walking up or down Atlantic Ave to reach the nearest Public Way). Bathroom calls were no longer a problem and anything we forgot to bring with us was just across the street. 80 Atlantic is also extremely close to Wells Beach 'Center'. If you want a newspaper or a snack, the convenience store is right there. If the kids want to go to the arcade or get an ice cream its just a short walk. On top of all this, our home has Maine marsh views from the back and ocean views from the front.

So close to the beach, yet without the huge price tag of an on beach rental. The house is a short drive from specialty shopping in either Ogunquit or Kennebunkport. The Maine Kittery Outlets are just down the highway from Wells. Mini golf is available in Wells and a public transportation trolley can take you all over town.
